🔥🌞Keeping your pets cool this summer🌞🔥
We cannot express the importance of keeping your pets cool and safe whilst we’re experiencing this heatwave! We’ve already had one pet brought in today showing signs of heat exhaustion.
A big well done to the young kids who found the loose dog in the park, acted quickly and alerted us so we could go and collect him .Well done, boys, you did a good thing!❤️🩹🐾
Top tips:
🌞Walk your dog when it’s cooler outside either early mornings or late evenings. Your dog won’t suffer missing one walk!
🌞Make sure they have access to plenty of fresh water at all time.
🌞Keep pets in shaded. Never leave pets in cars, conservatories, or direct sun.
🌞Watch for signs heatstroke - Heavy panting, drooling, wobbliness, lethargy. Don’t wait to act, contact us immediately!
🌞Help cool your pets- Move to shade, use damp towels on neck/belly/paws.
🌞Ensure microchips are up to date in case of emergencies or losing your pet!
