To the person leaving whole chicken carcasses on the bird feeders in the park, please stop! Cooked bones are so dangerous to the dogs who tend to take them before your intended diners do. Cooked bones can cause perforations and expensive Vet bills for their owners. Please spare a thought for all other users of the park.

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this post! Due to tragic circumstances one of my dog walking gang is looking for a new home after losing his owner very suddenly. Jakey is an amazing Staffy cross Jack Russell who has been with me on walks for the 6 years. He is 10, going on 11 but still one of the most active dogs, he loves his walks. He is a little softy who loves cuddles and a blanket. He is entire, and might benefit from being castrated. But honestly he is such a lovely boy, and I am going to true miss him as one of our gang. But he needs somewhere to call home.
