๐๐๐ Have you Vaccinated! ๐ ๐ ๐
With confirmed cases of Blue Tongue in Wales, itโs not too late to Vaccinate.
Please call the office on 01267 887100 to book or for any questions.
Following the identification of bluetongue BTV-3 cases in Wales, a Temporary Control Zone (TCZ) has been put in place in Monmouthshire: https://www.gov.wales/bluetongue-virus-confirmed-near-tintern-monmouthshire-temporary-control-zone-implemented-1-october.
If you keep cattle, sheep, camelids and other ruminants you must remain vigilant. Bluetongue is a notifiable disease and must be reported by law. You must not move any animal showing bluetongue clinical signs and if you see any of these signs you must report it to APHA. Ruminant animals or camelids and germinal products must not be moved on or off premises in the TCZ, without a licence to do so. Check the bluetongue map: https://defra.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=514ec88edec74575958d860f0196d2ea & the info on restrictions, licences & BTV-3 vaccines on GOV.WALES: www.gov.wales/bluetongue.
Please also see what steps you must take to prevent and control the disease: www.gov.wales/bluetongue.
Information about BTV-3 vaccinations is also available on GOV.UK: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/bluetongue-serotype-3-btv-3-vaccine-permits.
