It is with great regret that the Travelling Teapot closed it's doors on Saturday 10th September due to very high electric bills and the rising cost of ingredients This was not an easy decision as we were doing very well and made very welcome by everyone in Newcastle Emlyn. We would like to thank everyone for there support and kindness.

The Travelling Teapot Tea Room sycamore Street Newcastle Emlyn is open today 11 till 4 pm.
It looks like it's going to be a lovely day so if you in the town for the Welsh road race and time trial Championships you can pick up everything you need for a picnic, have an ice cream or come in for any of your favorite tea room treats our cream teas with homemade scones made freshly in the Tea Room through out the day are very popular (vegan cream the are available).

We've had a lovely and very busy Jubilee week/weekend at The Travelling Teapot with Jubilee parties and garden parties as well as lots of afternoon teas in the Tea Room, so now back to normal you can book your vintage afternoon teas served everyday in the Tea Room or pop in for a Cream Tea, a light lunch, quick snack, tea and cake, ice cream and lots more.

At The Travelling Teapot we're taking bookings for our Jubilee afternoon tea with strawberry prosecco sorbet, and jubilee trifle. If you don't fancy afternoon tea but want something a bit special you can always try our new champagne breakfast with our lovely fluffy homemade drop sones fresh berries, natural yogurt and chocolate spread, toasted homemade fruit bread, croissant's, jam, butter, orange juice and tea or coffee the bottle of fizz is an optional extra.

Don't forget if you having a picnic over the weekend or any other anytime you can order picnic boxes to collect or just pop in and get everything you need for your freshly prepared picnic.

We are open 9 till 5 Monday to Saturday.

At last The Traveling Teapot is summer ready our new Mario ice cream freezer has an array of flavors for everyone, including gluten free and vegan, even a special ice cream for dogs.
We are open 9 till 5 Monday to Saturday as normal over the jubilee.

We had a lovely day today at Manorbier Castle our buffet was enjoyed by a group of mainly American tourists on a coach holiday visiting some of our beautiful Welsh castles.
The buffet was served on our vintage china and included lots of lovely local cheese's, chutney, salad dressings, vinegars as well as our home made Welsh cake and Bara Brith.
