Just one thing missing here. See against thd wall there is a ledge. I would have something similar all along the race so the dog can run on it, jumping down only if needed.

The dogs' failures in training and behaviour are human failures to adapt and understand the dogs' needs.

This is also true in the case of poor healthcare for rare and complex unexplained, very severely disabling conditions.
It should not be the very ILL patients trying to improve or adapt and learn, but the medical professions responsibility is to fulfill the needs and care of patients by learning up to date information.

ANNOUNCEMENT - This is the END of almost 40 years breeding border collies.
We still have a few dogs and youngsters to place urgently. due to serious ill health.
The ones we have left are the special ones i had retained back in the hope of being able to restart again one day, but this is now highly unlikely.

Four months old to 2 years old.
One ultra special 10 year old needing a knowledgeable handler for a small holding. (he still acts like a 2 year old is very well trained but strong)
A couple will still be placed on breeding terms so I can still maintain a semblance HOPE for a future life

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT ME, my health AND MY DOGS
I HATE BREEDERS, they have been my worst customers, so too have many of the so called "dog trainers and competitive handlers" I have always sort forever homes FREE of risk of placement into RESCUE, I have near killed myself (certainly disabled myself in this goal) and here we are.....................

I tried very hard in End of 2023 and 2024 to get the two girls Nova and Patsy back last year, but the woman was unreasonable, (but she was also doing what she thought was protecting her daughter - see below), and then sadly I became very ill myself.
I am very pleased to help in rehoming these two girls. I certainly want to know everything about them and where they go etc. unfortunately I am working hard (killing myself to make sure my current dogs find the most suitable homes right now as I am being forced into retirement due to my ill health. 😭🙏😭🙏😭😷🤧🤮😱😱

Sadly, I have been landed a mistake litter due to an accident with friend who was keeping NOVA's liter brother and a very young bitch, she came back to me in terrible condition and within a week whelped 8 huge puppies. The pups will be reg. and all homes vetted, they will not be free.
UPDATE: 26-01-2025 this litter is now being looked after by a friend, due to my increasingly failing health.

It is very much likely the last ever Astra's to be born even if they were mistakes.
I cannot keep the pups for export either.

If anyone wants to help and if anyone wants some fantastic youngsters ready to train, I can no longer train and after trying waiting on the NHS and Doctors to do their job and spending £10000 s paying private consultants, other's to do the job of training and looking after my dogs, I used to love.

I have been diagnosed with several very rare conditions and not much prospect for treatments either.
