Our new stock bull Orval having his wash and blow dry today for a picture. Amazing how he's been out working all summer, now about to hit 8 years of age and looking like this! He could easily be taken to a major show today! Exciting to see what he can bring to the herd!

What a cracking day to finish the season with, 2nd and 5th prize in the show, reserve overall champion and winning best pen of shearling tups. Prices topping at 2100, 2000, 1950 with an overall average of just over 1500. Thankyou to all purchasers and under bidders. Is much appreciated and look forward to seeing everyone at next year's sales. Also a big well done to club members who bring out the quality of stock that they do. We have great results at our club sales and that's because of the quality brought forward.

Well what a day Saturday was, fantastic trade following on from Worcester. We presented 18 tups at Welshpool commercial tup sale, topping the trade with our pen and top price of the day- a texel selling at 3200, then 2500, and another two at 2000. Our Chartex put forward topped at 1750. Our overall pen average was 1600.

At the same time on Saturday at the Shropshire and Borders club sale at Shrewsbury we had forward 10 shearling tups last through in the sale but didn't disappoint. We had Reserve overall champion of the day with tups topping at 1750, 1650 and averaging just over 1300. Thanks to all buyers and bidders at both sales, nice to see so many returning customers and welsh buyers present, really made blood testing worth while. our next sale is Welshpool on the 25th September, big strong tups being taken and your last chance to get yourself a Preenbank tup!

Well the best pen of tups I've sent to Welshpool Livestock Sales Ltd this coming Saturday. Weather your looking for some insane commercial tups or something to produce yearling tups to sell we have it in this pen! Serious tops, length and ends. Be mad to miss these tups go through! Bluetongue vaccinated with Bultavo3 and blood tested obviously to come across the border. 4 awesome chartex tups and 14 pure texels. Tom Davies

One of my favourite tups for the Shropshire & Borders Texel Club sale, Preenbank Hans, has serious end, length and width with style! Triplet born but a power house. Sired by Strawfrank Glenfiddich who sired our tup that went to Worcester national, came 3rd in the show and made 5200. Mother is sired by a homebred tup Preenbank Captain Carcass who sired tups to 2900. A tup full of pedigree and potential. One to keep your 👀 on!

Dead chuffed with our consignment of yearling tups for Shropshire & Borders Texel Club sale at Shrewsbury Halls Livestock and Machinery Sales. Some serious width, skin and ends on these lads with length! Can't speak anymore highly of them. Bluetongue vaccinated with Bultavo 3 and will be eligible to go over the welsh border. Lot 212-225, last lot of yearlings to go through but l promise they are well worth the wait!

Following the success of our texels at Worcester we have also sold our southdown yearling tup Preenbank Hagrid privately to the Chaileybrook flock for a undisclosed four figure sum. This really is some tup with scale, bone, skin, shape and style with a leg in each corner, He was sired by our Brechfa tup which we purchased as a lamb. Thanks to Country Girl media for sending us the photo of this spectacular lad. We wish you the best of luck with him and look forward to seeing his progeny on the ground next year.

A very late post apologies, would like to say a big thankyou to the effort everyone made to come and support our Shropshire & Borders Texel Club club open afternoon. We had a fantastic turn out, drunk plenty and ate plenty. There are lots of thankyous to everyone who made the day possible,

Andrew Brassington and Jess Brassington from Wegnal butchery for doing the hog roast it couldn't have been any better.

To everyone that helped get ready for the day and you know who you are.

Robyn Hardman for being our master judge and giving us reasons which l know alot of people appreciated to hear.

Finally also a huge thankyou to everyone that donated to the raffle. We raised in the end £1200 that will be split between Cancer Research and Sands. The ewe lamb was won by Jack Robb a young breeder who's not long come into the breed so we couldn't be any happier with that result.
