Well that is the last winter dressage competition, thank you to all our competitors today some new faces and lovely tests.
Thank you to Debbie our scorer Tracey and Sharon for judging,Westgate Labs for our continued sponsership and Linda and Elaine for lovely rosettes.
Our summer dressage starts on Sunday 11th May, full details on Equo.

Our final 2924/25 Winter League Dressage competition is on Sunday 20th April.

Warm up is outdoors and tests ridden indoors.
Classes for everyone from intro to elementary with separate junior and senior sections, rosettes to 6th and points awarded on %scored for league. Prizes/rosettes will be presented for both juniors and seniors with the highest points gained over the winter series.

Are you interested in improving your horse knowledge in a relaxed social way?

Alastair Parkin BHS I/Ba (hons)/PC assessor will be running some courses over the summer at Benridge. These will be informative, friendly and based on small groups for 2 hours teaching and a break for tea and cake.
We will cover various topics such as conformation, feeding, pre-purchase etc. The cost will be £40 per person per session which will be on a Thursday daytime or evening depending on demand, starting in June.
Course will be suitable for horse owners, students and anyone interested in improving their horse care knowledge.

🐴 Benridge Combined Training Summer series🐴

We are running a combined training league over the summer months. These competitions are very friendly and relaxed, plenty of help and encouragement on hand!
Classes for all from 30-85cm show jumping and using BD intro and prelim tests.

Dressage tests are ridden outdoors with a caller available, show jumping indoors with plenty of breaks for course walking.
The competition is run under BD CT rules with rosettes to 6th place in each class plus points awarded towards the summer combined training league, prize giving on the final summer date.

A horse and rider combination may enter up to 2 classes on each of the dates.
Body protectors are recommended for the jumping phase.

Full details and entries thru Equo, entries close the Wednesday prior to each competition date.

Results of today’s dressage a busy but chilly day.Thank you to the usual people our judges Gail, Tracey and Sharon, our writers Jane and Emma scorer Debbie Cave,Linda and Elaine for lovely Rosettes’s and to Westgate Labs for the continuing support.
Our last winter dressage is on April 20th, then May brings more dressage outside over the summer and a combined training series.

With the days getting longer and the weather improving albeit slowly here are some of our diary dates to look forward to over the summer months:

Remaining winter league dressage dates:

Combined training
We have 4 dates over the summer, these will be run as a league too with prizes awarded at the September competition.
