Tilery Equestrian Centre We have a wide variety of horses and ponies to ride for all abilities. We now have a new purpose built stable block for our school ponies.

The Tilery Equestrian Centre is a Riding School and Livery yard situated in the beautiful surroundings of Kirkley Mill, near Kirkley Hall in Ponteland, Northumberland. Our facilities include an indoor School Size 20 x 40m with a viewing gallery and an outdoor arena size 20 x 60m. We are now an official member of The Pony Club.

Yard Manager/Instructor

This is a full time position that will require flexibility in working hours to include evenings and weekends.
A great opportunity to join a family run 5 Star BHS approved Livery yard and Riding School .
Must have experience in teaching all abilities from kids to adults.
A car is a must as there is no public transport.

Required Skills/Qualifications
Candidates will hold a minimum qualification of BHS STAGE 2 COACH/ UKCC LEVEL 2 or equivalent .
Must have experience of managing a team of people, ADVANCED riding ability and the ability to teach. Must have a good standard of English & Maths and be computer literate. Skills or experience in marketing/sales would be beneficial.
The ability to respond to customer enquiries/bookings via telephone, email, and social media messages. Maintain a regular marketing campaign to promote the business via social media.
A qualification in health and safety, BHS safeguarding for equestrians, first aid at work would be an advantage.

Other info
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Disclosure Certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau, for which assistance will be given.
Salary will be dependent experience/qualifications (circa Ā£24k to Ā£29k with potential for substantial overtime)
The position is full time.The days of work will be 5 days including weekends and occasion evenings. Approximately 35/40 hours per week with a flexible approach to working hours/willingness to cover at short notice from time to time.

No accommodation available but possibility of bringing your own horse/horses.
