Archie's Cat & Kitten Rescue We are a small family run rescue, based in Northumberland. We chose our name in memory of our beautiful springer Archie, friend to 100's of rescue cats.

We will rescue, rehabilitate and re-home all cats in our care to their forever families.

Good morning, Melvyn here!
Things have slowed right down at Archie's lately. There aren't many foster cats here now, and I've heard whispers that some lucky cats might soon be heading off to their forever homes!
As for me, I'm enjoying some well-earned rest after all the hard work I've done since arriving at Archie's. It's been a busy time, but seeing so many cats helped along the way has made it all worthwhile.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some important relaxing to do! 🐾

A couple of years ago, we were asked to take in a lovely stray boy. We named him Dan because Newcastle had just won the Carabao Cup, and it seemed fitting!
Before long, a wonderful lady fell in love with him and adopted him. As it turned out, she was a huge Newcastle fan too.
She got in touch again because Dan was looking for a feline friend. Then along came the gorgeous Magpie looking for a home. Some things are just meant to be!
Just look at them now — two Newcastle-inspired rescue cats living their best lives together. It really feels like fate had a hand in this one. 🖤🤍🐾

We've had quite a few people asking if there's anything that lovely Inca needs. Well, our girl has developed a real fondness for Scrumbles pâté! 😹

Brilliant news! Beautiful Polly has had her cardiac scan and thankfully she needs no further treatment or medication. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated and entered raffles to fund this.

She will return to Coquet Vets in 9–12 months for a routine check-up, but apart from that she is now ready to find her forever home alongside her sister, Pippa.

Ongoing support will be available at coquet vets for Polly in the future in relation to her heart murmur.

These gorgeous girls share such a special bond and we would love to see them adopted together into a loving, extra special home.
