💕 Please don't overlook us. We might be a little shy, but we have so much love waiting to give. All we need is someone to believe in us. 💕
We're Hazel and Stevie. Two beautiful girls who, through no fault of their own, have had a difficult start in life. Neither of us has had a single application, and it's heartbreaking to think that our forever homes are still out there waiting.
🐾 Hazel approximately 1 year old
When Hazel came into our care, she was covered in fleas and desperately needed some kindness and care. She's been through so much for such a young girl, but she's now recovering beautifully.
We're hoping she can be spayed as soon as her skin has healed.
Hazel is a little shy and will need someone who understands that trust takes time. But imagine the feeling of knowing that a little girl who was once frightened has finally learned that she's safe. Her reward will be purrs, affection and a lifetime of love.
She would prefer to be the only cat in the home. Older children who respect her and give her space would be fine.
🐾 Stevie approximately 3 years old
Stevie's story is another that makes us sad. She was found out on the streets, with a microchip that was never registered. Someone had once cared enough to have her chipped, but somehow she ended up alone.
We suspect she had been trying to survive outside for quite some time. She was frightened of people and needed six teeth extracted, so goodness knows how long she had been struggling.
But look at her now! With patience, kindness and a safe place to call home, Stevie has blossomed into a very loving girl. She enjoys fuss and attention and is ready for someone to love her as much as she deserves.
She too would prefer a quiet home as the only cat, with older children only.
❤️ We know we're not the easiest girls to fall in love with at first sight. We're not going to run straight into your arms or demand your attention. We might need a little time.
But please don't mistake our shyness for a lack of love.
Some of the most rewarding relationships are the ones where trust is earned, one little step at a time.
All we want is a safe home, a warm bed, gentle hands and someone who promises never to let us down again.
