After my most recent post I’d just like to put it out there again! If you are struggling with looking after your reptiles then please reach out and get some advice or even hand over your reptile! There are plenty of places in the north east that would help out! If you’re unable to find anywhere then please contact us and if we can’t help we know of other people who could! Just a quick look on Facebook brings up multiple rescues that can help!

Post update!!
Unfortunately this beautiful girl didn’t make it and has left this world today. She fought hard all the way, but it all just got too much for her. After initially responding well to treatment, the more shed that came away showed much more scale rot and severe burns. Rest easy and sleep well big girl, you ain’t in pain anymore!

A bit of a distressing one today! This big girl has just come to us and as you can see, she’s not in very good condition. She has a lot of stuck shed on her and is awfully underweight. She’s currently off to have a good soak in the bath, and hopefully get some of the loose shed off her. With the right care and attention hopefully she’ll come through this!
Edit: poor girl has bad scale rot and burns all over. We’ve just ordered all the medication and disinfectants we need for her.

Ok for some news! These two beautiful girls are a lesser and an Enchi Pastel royal pythons. I have purchased these as I’m going to try my hand at breeding (I will not be breeding any rescues). With me being a self funded rescue and re-homing programme, I was thinking of ways to help try and raise cash to help with the costs, so if successful any monies made from breeding will go back into the rescues!
