We’ve left this a few days out of respect for our friend and customer Ann. Ann messaged me to let me know that sadly Millie lost her fight to kidney disease and passed away on Friday. Millie was an amazing dog and she truly was Ann’s companion. She got Ann through so much and it really is utterly heartbreaking that she was taken far too soon. Sending all our love at this difficult time 💔

This is a new venture set up by the owner of one of Gert’s Brothers. She is amazing with dogs and so yours would be in very capable hands should you need a dog walker or simply someone to call in whilst you’re at work etc🐾

After a great deal of consideration, we have made the decision to increase our prices by £5 per day per dog. The boarding cost has been the same now for 8 years and in that time, as you are all aware, cost of living has increased dramatically. That said, we have kept the increase to a minimum and hope our customers understand. This will take effect from 1st January 2026.

Anyone who has already booked in for next year and not happy with the increase, will be given the opportunity to cancel without a fee. However this will only apply if cancellation is made before the New Year. After that, if you cancel within a month of the stay a 50% cancellation fee will still apply.

Thank you for your continued support and custom, it is very much appreciated.

“Dog Down”

Poor Gert has managed to rupture her achilles tendon and needed surgery to repair it. The operation went well but she has a long way to go before we know if it has been successful. We had a rough night last night, as she was very restless and appeared to be in a lot of pain. Lots of TLC and confinement to the crate and fingers crossed, she makes a full recovery. Business as usual here apart from the matriarch of the family being out of action for a while 😢🩷

Another very sad week as three of our regulars have passed away. Adorable Ruby (Boxer), Buttons (Lab) and Lula (Cross). All three of them reached an impressively old age, but that certainly doesn’t make it any easier when it’s their time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Becoming attached to the dogs we care for makes these times all the more difficult. Thinking of their families at this incredibly sad time 💔💔💔

I need to provide an Electrical Safety Certificate as part of my licensing requirements and I know that some of our lovely customers are in fact Electricians. If anyone would be interested in doing this for me, would you please message the page with a price for doing it. We need to keep all the dogs that board with us as safe as possible 😊
