💔🧡 ODIN STILL NEEDS A HOME 🧡💔

The 3rd home that we had lined up for little ODIN has fallen through… Yes, we know it’s better he didn’t go for him to them be returned … but we are now weeks down the line … and this adorable little Staffy munchkin STILL needs a home … 💔🧡💔

His only ‘issue’ …. He has seperation anxiety … he cries when he is left alone … SURELY there is a home out there who can accommodate this and has room for the most perfect little senior Staffy??? 😩🧡😫

We are totally gobsmacked with what is currently happening … SO many homes are falling through, pulling out, not responding after initial contact… we are exhausted, deflated and are unable to help any more dogs (of which there are so, so many needing desperate help 💔) until we find some committed homes (foster or permanent)

💔 WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR INTAKES APART FROM DIRE EMERGENCIES, OR DOGS WE HAVE FOSTER HOMES FOR 💔

We follow up every single suitable application we receive for each dog, yet hours, days and weeks are being wasted - this is keeping dogs in kennels longer and ultimately causing dogs to lose their lives 💔 We work every minute of every day to save these dogs and find them homes - it’s honestly heartbreaking to see them waiting, or returned 💔

Please DO NOT apply unless you are totally sure you are in a position to take on a dog, have no holidays booked for the near future, and everyone in the family is on board … we need you to have these conversations BEFORE applying 🐶❤️🐶

We HATE having to post things like this - we would love to post more happy endings, more dogs saved, but that isn’t the reality right now… things are dire and so many dogs need help - but we KNOW we can do this with your help ❤️🐶❤️

Parvo is doing the rounds in the Ts6 area... please don’t underestimate this virus you can loose your dog from it. It’s a horrible virus and highly contagious. I’ll be doing extra cleaning procautions inbetween clients. Please cancel your appointment if your dog shows any of these symptoms 💜

Wow what a lovely end of 22 and start of the new year it’s been! Thankyou so much as always to my amazing clients (I’m so grateful for you all) ❤️

And Thankyou to everyone who has messaged in regards to pet sitting over the summer, I’m still making my way through these so please bare with me 😊

I’m now back in York for uni and come back for 2 weeks in feb, then again for April half term and I officially finish the middle of May 🥰

Rawhide...

The word that makes me cringe!

It won't be long till pet shops will start having things like this on their shelves!

Raw hide is not a product of the meat industry, it's a product of the leather industry!

They bleach and glue raw hide to make these shapes.

How It’s Made

“Producing rawhide begins with the splitting of an animal hide, usually from cattle. The top grain is generally tanned and made into leather products, while the inner portion, in its “raw” state, goes to the dogs.” The Bark

It isn't digestible, and can often go stringy meaning it can get stuck down your dogs throat. There are so many alternative chews that are long lasting.

-horns
-antlers
-yak chews

All these are totally natural and will not hurt your dog.
If you love them do not buy rawhide and let's help by not purchasing them put an end to the rawhide industry! Mostly made in China also, where they have very minimal standards for things such as rawhide.
