Look how big the ducklings are now, not long until they are released.
We only picked this one up for the photo to show his size, gently otherwise we herd them into a carry box to move them to their run for daily outside time and swimming. This is to minimise human contact, keep them wild so they are safe when free.
This is Calista, we also have Tia here both veterinary students from The University of Liverpool they have been helping with all the animals this week making sure they are happy and cared for.

Leah Roberts will be entertaining and caring for them lots during the day.
I will be hopefully catching up on some sleeps this afternoon so I can continue to take them out when the temperature is safe under the beautiful moonlight star filled sky's.

All our dogs were out at between 10pm and 1am last night, looking at the forecast it won't be cool enough until gone midnight today.
The all have air-conditioning in their rooms set at 18 ° and tv.
We will be doing puzzle games, massages, brushing, frozen treats and just spending time with them in the cool.
Leah Roberts is also with the hotel dogs today entertaining them and keeping them safe.
Keeping doors and shutters closed only out in gardens for quick toilet breaks to lock the cool inside.
Long hot days seem harder work than normal weather. We also have 180 rescue animals from hens to ponies to keep safe on site too.

🐶☀️ Is it too hot to walk your dog?

With the summer heat kicking in, it's crucial to keep your pup safe. Most dogs are comfy between 15–20°C, but once temps rise, the risk of overheating does too — especially for:

🔸 Overweight dogs
🔸 Seniors (8+ years)
🔸 Puppies (
