☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER UPDATE 🐾☀️
With temperatures set to rise next week, I just wanted to let everyone know how I’ll be managing walks to keep all of your doggies safe and comfortable 💛
🐶 During hotter days:
• Walks may be swapped to a drop-in visit if temperatures reach around 21-22°C+, if you’re home then the walk may be cancelled if not possible to rearrange!
• Earlier or later walks may be offered where possible (with a quick pop in over the normal hours for a little wee break if home alone)
• If it becomes too hot during a walk, we’ll head home early after water and shade breaks
💧 I always carry plenty of fresh water and bowls on walks, plus extra water in the van — which is fully ventilated at all times to keep the doggies comfortable and cool!!
I’m also making use of shaded routes, woodland walks, and areas near water where possible.
💓💓Please remember that during periods of hot weather it can be incredibly difficult to keep schedules running exactly as normal while also ensuring every dog stays safe and comfortable. I completely understand that changes to walks may not always be ideal, however I will always have the dogs’ best interests at heart and will never risk the health or wellbeing of any dog in my care. Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and support during the warmer days 💓💓
