Thinking of getting a pet rabbit? Join Our Family Sessions at Ferne Animal Sanctuary!

Rabbits can make wonderful pets - but they also require space, time, and the right environment to live happy, healthy lives.

If you’ve ever thought about welcoming rabbits into your home, our Family Sessions are the perfect place to start.

Every Wednesday throughout the school holidays, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know before making the commitment:

🐰How much space and enrichment rabbits need
🐰What to feed them (and what to avoid!)
🐰Understanding their behaviour and body language
🐰The costs, time, and responsibility involved
🐰How to create a safe, stimulating home environment

These interactive sessions are designed for the whole family, so children and adults can learn together.

When: Every Wednesday during the school holidays
Where: Ferne Animal Sanctuary (small furries area)
Time: 11.15 am
Who’s it for: Families, or anyone thinking about owning rabbits

No booking is required – simply come along. Please note: Normal sanctuary admission fees apply to attend the rabbit talks.

Let’s make sure every rabbit gets the loving, knowledgeable home they deserve. 🐰

There is something about Rex breeds that I love, they are docile, inquisitive, friendly and the fur/coat is out of this world.

We currently have 5 Rex bunnies staying with us 🥰
