⭐️ Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather & whilst we as humans are basking in the sunshine , most of our furry friends maybe struggling. Please find a reminder of my hot weather policy 🌟
21 -23 Degrees - Healthy young dogs will be walked in shaded areas . There will be as always access to drinking water. Walks will be cut short if dog displays any signs of being affected by the heat.
Elderly dogs , flat face breeds or dogs with medical issues will be dealt with on a dog by dog basis and may be changed to pop in and play visits .
24 - 25 -Degrees - Onwards , Extreme caution will be used , walks will be shortened and will be in wooded or shaded areas.
25-26 Degrees Upwards - Walks will be swapped to very short on lead walks ( If dog will not toilet in the garden) and pop in & play garden visits.
I will closely follow the weather forecast the evening prior to yourscheduled walks & endevour to bring walks forward to avoid the midday heat and will inform you of any changes to duration or timings.
If you feel that you would prefer your dog not to be walked during this time and would prefer pop in visits please do let me know. In addition there will he no late cancellation charges for cancelled walks due to heat .
Please know your dogs health and safety is my top priority as always ⭐️
