🐾 Exciting News: Our First Ever Course Running Evening! 🐾
We are thrilled to announce our very first Course Running Evening on Thursday, 19th Feb (6pm – 9pm) at Newbold Verdon Equestrian Centre, held in their fantastic outdoor covered sand arena, using Galican equipment.
This evening is open to all dogs aged 16 months and over who have had previous training on the equipment. Whether you are non-competing or a seasoned pro, this is ideal for:
🐾 Beginner handlers - unsure if you want to start competing or ready to jump in and give it a go in a low key, supportive environment.
🐾 New dogs - preparing for the summer show season or want to see how they handle a different environment to training.
🐾 Dogs returning from injury - needing a low-pressure environment or a lower jump height.
🐾 Targeted training - for contacts or weaves in a "show style" setting.
What to expect during the evening:
🐾 Two Full Courses: You'll get 1 Agility course and 1 Jumping course (designed for Beginners/Grades 1–3). 4 times in the ring in total with your dog.
🐾 Walk the Course: 10–15 minutes to plan your lines. Our trainers (in hi-vis vests) will be on hand for advice and guidance!
🐾 Train the Course: You'll have 2–3 minutes of dedicated time to work on specific elements, try different handling options, or focus on your dog’s specific needs.
🐾 Run the Course: Just like a real show! You’ll be timed and judged (optional), giving you the perfect chance to put your training to the test. Or if you prefer run it but reward sections as you see fit for your dog.
🐾 Spectating: Plenty of space to watch others or have your runs filmed. Feel free to ask one of our team to film you so you can review your progress later!
Cost: £20 per dog.
