๐ Autumn Pet Safety Reminder! ๐
As the nights draw in and the leaves start to fall, itโs important to watch out for seasonal hazards that could put our pets at risk. Here are a few to keep in mind this autumn:
๐ Wild Mushrooms โ Many are poisonous to dogs and cats. Keep an eye out on woodland walks and stop your pet from nibbling!
๐ซ Halloween Sweets โ Chocolate, raisins, and sugar-free sweets containing xylitol are all dangerous for pets. Keep treats well out of reach.
๐ Antifreeze (Ethylene Glycol) โ Extremely toxic, even in tiny amounts. Store safely and clean up any spills straight away.
๐ฅ Bonfire Night & Candles โ Loud bangs, bright lights, and open flames can be frightening or dangerous. Make sure pets have a safe, quiet space indoors.
๐ฆ Wildlife & Garden Hazards โ Hedgehogs, toads, and adders are more active before hibernation. Keep a close eye on curious pets exploring the garden!
