Fiona's Fairy Doors Handmade & unique rustic wooden fairy doors, miniature fairy gardens, decorations & ornaments. Doors are personalised with any names, quotes etc you want.

Handmade from sustainablly-sourced wood, my Fairy Doors are a unique and delightful keepsake for young and old. The doors have a quaint and rustic charm, making them an ideal gift for the person who has everything else! My doors are hand-cut, sanded, decorated free-hand using pyrography, then protected with several layers of yacht varnish, making them ideal for both indoors and outdoors. To compl

iment the doors I use a lovely selection of realistic artificial flowers, paint, hand-picked and dried moss, willow and coconut flower stems, hinges and handles and other embellishments to give the doors charm and character. I also make 'memorial' doors, and work with you to create something special, and which is the essence of a loved one, human or animal. All my fairy doors are individually handmade, so no two doors will ever be exactly the same. I enjoy working with the natural markings of the wood, and often incorporate the 'knots' etc into the design. The doors range from around 4 1/2 inches to 10 inches high, and can be as simple or ornate as you like. I always have a wide selection of doors ready-made, so please get in touch if you need something quickly. Happy everyone! Today's fairy is the Candytuft Fairy from Flower Fairies of the Garden 🌼🍃

Why am I “Candytuft”?
That I don’t know!
Maybe the fairies
First called me so;
Maybe the children,
Just for a joke;
(I’m in the gardens
Of most little folk).

Look at my clusters!
See how they grow:
Some pink or purple,
Some white as snow;
Petals uneven,
Big ones and small;
Not very tufty—
No candy at all!

We NEVER stop; and here it is..... It's crazy to say we are already working on 2026, but we are and it's going to be VERY SPECIAL.

I was lucky to be next to the lovely Pam's Pebble Art at Betley Show 2025 yesterday and have ordered some surprise pieces for gifts.

I had a great day running 2 workshops for Market Drayton Library - the children’s imagination and use of the resources was absolutely wonderful, and you can see how the children created something totally individual and unique.
It was a delight to be part of the fun, conversation, problem-solving, sharing and satisfaction that this simple activity brought. X

Our Story

Handmade from new and sustainably-sourced wood, my Fairy Doors are a unique and delightful keepsake for young and old, and suitable for any occasion! I cut, sand and decorate all of my doors, and protect them by finishing with yacht varnish: this makes the doors suitable for outside. Doors can also be finished with outdoor gloss paint in a variety of colours. These are a delightful addition to any home or garden, and have a real magical and rustic charm. Each door is unique, so no two doors will ever be exactly the same. They can be placed underneath the stairs, outside a bedroom, against a wall, under a bush or fixed to a tree. They come complete with a ring for hanging, or can be fastened directly to where they are to be positioned. The doors come in a variety of sizes, from approximately 5 inches to 10 inches high, and approximately 3/4 inch thickness. Being made from real wood, and not MDF, they can have quirky markings and colourings - this just adds to their uniqueness and makes them all the more life-like.

Doors are very reasonably priced, from £8 upwards, dependent on size and design. Also available is a wide variety of handmade and decorated miniature fairy gardens, fairy wands, gardlands, unicorn horns, bunting, craft kits and miniature accessories.
