Well today positive paws were out and about doing urban trails.
The cool breeze and early start enabled us to complete our session before it got too hot.
Teams Molly, Mollie, Blu, Gunner and Dylan all performed beautifully.
The theme for today was junctions.
Followed by split trails…The look Gunner gave the Decoy was priceless before he went straight up to his misper.
Lots of distractions with passers by, dogs and pushchairs.
Well done everyone.

I have been accepted as a full member of The Guild of Dog Trainers MGoDT (CDT)
All the Continued Personal Development over many years has paid off.

Today 5 dogs and 4 handlers from Positive Paws were out and about focus trailing.
Luckily we were able to take advantage of an early start and the shade from the woodland surrounds.

Trails were kept relatively short but included more junction work to ensure that both dogs and handlers remained comfortable.
Teams Zanzi, Elwood and Tyler are more experienced, so twists and turns were a nice challenge for them.

Team Jess was completing her introduction to tracking and trailing and this little one is going to be a star.
Her Sisters Fran & Aggie had previously completed an introduction so continuation training was the order of the day.

To finish off with a little fun 3 dogs took scent from a car door handle in order to find there misper.
They were superb !

We awarded introduction certificates to Fran, Aggie and Jess with Tracey.

All in all it was a lovely morning for all the handlers and dogs.
We must give special thanks to Anne who is a super trail layer and happy to hide out for the dogs.
