Yesterday we said goodbye to both Marie & Rabbit as they headed off to their new homes 🏡❤️

Two lovely horses beginning their next chapters & we wish them both and their new owners lots of happiness together. Thank you to everyone involved & for continuing to support my small business 🐴✨

✨ Re-available ✨

Some of you may remember Jet from last summer… through no fault of his own, Jet is back with me & looking for his next 🏡

Over the past year Jet has continued to progress nicely in the school both on the flat & over jumps, whilst still enjoying lots of hacking (his favourite) 🐴

He also comes with an extensive wardrobe, making him ready to go for his next adventure 👀✨

Up to date photos & videos will be taken once Jet has had chance to settle back in. In the meantime, I thought I'd reshare his previous advert for anyone who may have missed him first time around.

With the sunshine finally here 🌞🐴
I thought this was worth sharing — some really useful reminders on caring for horses in the hot weather and helping keep them cool, comfortable and safe 💦

🌞 Temperatures are rising across the UK this weekend, with forecasts into the 30s - so be on the alert for heatstroke in horses, hounds, and humans at polo and keep the HPA’s rules and guidance in mind:

📘 Read the Extreme Heat Guidance available in the HPA Welfare Booklet, available online and in print
🐎 Try to travel and play early or late to avoid the hottest part of the day
🚛 Do not travel in temperatures over 30°C unless the vehicle is temperature-controlled
🪟 Open all windows and reduce the number of horses travelling together for increased airflow
🪣 Carry extra water on board in case of a breakdown or traffic emergency
🧽 Use aggressive cooling measures on horses after play and monitor carefully
🫗 Make sure fresh water is available at all times
🌳 Keep horses in the shade as much as possible
🐶 Do not leave dogs in cars or horseboxes
🧴 Apply suncream to sensitive areas
🧃 Remember to hydrate people too!

⚠️ If the temperature is 28°C or above, or there is an amber  weather warning in place, free changes are to be given during play.

☀️🐴 Brodie enjoying a gentle exercise session before the day gets too hot 🐴☀️

I've been enjoying looking after Brodie and his brother Marv whilst their owner is away 💛 Keeping routines consistent and horses happy is always the priority, whether that’s gentle work, turnout, feeds or plenty of fuss!

🐴 Happy Hacking 🐴

Hacking isn’t just a change of scenery — it’s one of the best ways to keep horses happy, fit and mentally fresh. 🌿

Getting out and about helps build confidence, improves fitness naturally, strengthens muscles, and gives horses a break from arena work. It’s also brilliant for exposing them to new sights and situations, helping create a more relaxed, well-rounded horse both at home and away.

This is why hacking is such an important part of the varied routine here, alongside schooling and groundwork, to help keep horses enjoying their work and progressing in all areas. 🐎

🌟 Pedrar (Ruby) 🌟
15.2hh | 6yo | Thoroughbred Mare

Ruby is a lovely natured mare looking for a new home where she can go on and enjoy a different job.

A super sweet, easy mare to have around on the ground and very straightforward to handle. Under saddle she is a forward-going ride, so she is not suitable for novices, but would suit someone confident looking for a fun project to produce their own way.

She played polo last summer before enjoying a winter holiday. Since coming back into work she’s decided polo life perhaps isn’t for her, so we feel she’d be happier finding a home doing something different.

Offered currently as a project from the field due to lack of time before my holiday. If not sold beforehand she will be brought back into work and her figures will increase accordingly.

A genuine mare with lots of potential in the right hands ✨
