Happy new year everyone, sorry we’ve been a bit quiet on the social media front lots has been happening behind the scenes and I’ve been extremely busy training clients, doing some BHS stage 4 training and passing my Stage 4 business management exam !! Eeek

I’m just in the process of securing clinic dates with Blidworth Equestrian Show Centre & Arkenfield Stables as we speak, due to popularity the ‘Confidence Jumping Clinics’ with be returning this year and new for 2026 I’m going to be introducing a ‘Poles and Gymnastical Jumping’ series and ‘Confidence XC Jumping’ if enough interest so do let me know what you’d like to do this summer.

I have got some little availability in the diary for freelance coaching locally also if anyone is needing some extra support at home with our furry steeds.

Really pleased to be able to offer another fabulous showjumping clinic at Arkenfield which will be a great opportunity to keep our horses sharp and ticking over these winter months ! ❄️

What to expect ❓ - A relaxed clinic aimed at building skills over a fence and around a course focusing mainly on building confidence in the partnership between you and your horse.

✔️Kind & encouraging BHSAI accredited professional & RDA coach.

✔️National dressage & event rider.

✔️Fantastic show venue that runs regular competitions.

✔️All ages and abilities welcome.

Small groups to be organised on chosen height and ability.

Looking at the potential of a loaner for Prince to help upkeep his fitness and training whilst I’m working so many hours !

15.1hh 9yo Connemara gelding, Absolute gent in all ways on the ground you can literally do anything with him, catches, loads and travels like a dream, stands to bath, plait, clip anything is a tick !

In the right hands to ride prince is a proper little competition pony, nicely schooled and always in the top scores out dressage, has some established lateral work but there is true potential here ! Jumps beautifully, very careful and rarely touches a pole and storms around an XC. Never not been in the top 10 low level eventing he’s literally been all over the country with me on my own ! Loves a good hack, safe always but much less spooky in company.

Saying all this he is not a nervous & novice horse, he can be at times sharp and excited, spooky and even come out the start box a little backwards and tense, nothing is ever dangerous but he’s a proper switched on competition horse and needs a confident & respectful rider with kind hands to truly work with him well. Would really suit somebody reliable who maybe doesn’t quite have the funds to buy a quality horse to compete.

No real yard duties as he lives out all year round, not even any poo picking to be done ! has access to a little sand school, yard and stable. I’m a fully qualified coach and also have a lorry so happy to support competition for the right person. Just looking for a contribution to his upkeep in return.

Fantastic time spent with Cat Ellis judging the British Dressage medium music freestyle and up to advanced medium level tests. So much learned about what is expected of each movement up the level and definitely plenty of food for thought to take away in my own riding and coaching 🔥🔥
