🎅🏿 ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

It’s here……
It’s today…..

It’s Edwards Raffle time….

Edward always loved his Christmas raffles. ❤️

They are a wonderful way to raise such valuable funds for our rescue so we can help the many Labradors that come into our care.
Many of our older Labradors for instance that we rehome, may need lots of veterinary “help”, physio, hydro, accupuncture, massage, and as you all know, Edward always insisted they get the very best to set them on their way to their happy new life.
We are always there to help whenever we are needed .

Our raffle is a way for us to fundraise, but also , to give something back to our followers and supporters for always being there for us, helping us, talking about us, promoting us, donating to us.
These raffles gives us a chance to say thank you to you too , with a chance of winning some exceedingly pawsome prizes.
We work really hard to gather items making edwards raffles the “ultimate raffles” to bring lots of cheer at the end of the year!

Edwards Christmas raffles are known to be “top notch” and we always make sure gifts are posted out in-time to reach you for Christmas.
This years raffle will be drawn on the 13th December.

We have created Edwards raffle tickets online and you can purchase them by pressing on the link at the bottom to buy as many as you wish.

All purchased tickets will be acknowledged via an email.

Your order number will this year be your ticket numbers ( please check your spam box as some of our emails may end up in there! 🙈 )

You can buy as many tickets as you wish, remembering, the order number is your ticket numbers.
If you purchase say 20 tickets , your order number will be added to the raffle 20 times.

Cash prizes have been donated, holidays even!! 😁 we will highlight them separatly .

Many £50 gift vouchers for high street stores, a stunning £150 Fortnum & Mason hamper, a £100 meal voucher.
A stunning Photo shoot with images worth £345 , £50 Dalesford gift voucher , Toni & Guy £100 hair care box, our famous hand painted baubles, cushions, …… The list is endless and we will be going on and on about it. 😉🙉🙈🙊

Prizes are still being added to daily.
We have been bowled over by the generosity.

Thank you for your amazing support as always.
I know a little fury chocolate boy with his little fur sister Ellie this year will be looking down smiling and wagging their tails from their office at Rainbow Bridge proud to see what pawsome things we continue to do for Team Edward.

My heart beats so strongly with pride for all that we achieve.

This one’s for you Nick too. ❤️ ###

⚠️⛔️ We have had a confirmed case of Parvovirus at our practice today ⛔️⚠️

The dog is fully vaccinated and up to date. Vaccines reduce the chance of an animal contracting the disease in the first place but they also reduce the severity of disease if the animal does end up contracting said disease.
VACCINES LITERALLY SAVE LIVES.

Sadly this isn't the first case of parvovirus we've diagnosed and it won't be the last so please ensure that your dog's vaccines are up to date.

For reference, the dog has only been in the owner's garden and to a local dog groomers. We won't be naming the groomers as we don't want them to get bad publicity when they won't have done anything wrong but they are aware so that they can take the necessary steps. Anywhere dogs visit is a risk, especially places with a high volume of canine visitors and that's why vaccinations are so important. Visiting foxes in gardens also pose a risk for multiple different diseases that can also infect our canine companions.

Clinical signs of parvovirus
- vomiting (often bloody but not always)
- diarrhoea (often bloody and foul smelling but not always)
- abdominal pain
- lethargy
- fever
- inappetence

🚨🍂 Seasonal Canine Illness Alert 🍂🚨

After seeing two local vets post that they have had cases already, we’re reminding all dog owners to stay alert for Seasonal Canine Illness (SCI), which typically occurs in the autumn months (August–November) after walks in woodland areas.

⚠️ What to watch for (within 24–72 hours of a woodland walk):
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Abdominal pain

SCI can progress quickly, so early veterinary treatment is essential. If your dog shows any of these signs after a woodland walk, please call us immediately.

Tips to reduce risk:
• Keep dogs on leads in woodland areas
• Avoid letting them roam in undergrowth
• Check for harvest mites and other parasites after walks
• Monitor your dog closely for 3 days after woodland walks
