I have recently qualified as a Canine Behaviourist with the ISCP, level 6 Advanced Diploma in Canine behaviour with a Distinction. Get in touch if you need help with your socially

anxious, nervous, fearful dog, I can give you the skills to help your dog navigate the world they live in. Other qualifications
level 3 diploma in canine welfare with Animal courses direct
level 4 Ofqual Aim award, diploma in training and behaviour management with Animal courses direct. I have been dog walking since November 2020 mostly SOLO walks, but I do match suitable dogs with the guardian's consent. Previously volunteered with Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Blidworth, and worked in a doggy day care centre looking after around fifteen dogs, walking up to four at any one time. I have a dog called Buster he is a Sprocker Spaniel. FORCE - FREE methods and an understanding that every dog is unique.

Today couple of recall practises. ✅

Sit to the whistle ✅

Searching for his dummy, I’d give a tick but he doesn’t always bring it straight back to me, need a place board 😂✅ half tick

And lots of sniffs in the undergrowth ✅

Saw a couple of dogs as they walked up the path, moved to one side as he was getting excited, managed to calm him but dog off lead didn’t listen to owner and came up to us then growled 😳 owner took it away and pretty much ignored us.

This mornings walk with Bruno 21 weeks old.

Focused on sniff work and environmental confidence. Dropped the long line once we were clear, and he settled well with a few people around.

Big win: bird flushed from undergrowth → immediate chase → one whistle recall → he turned straight back. Cheese reward for choosing me over prey. 🧀🧀🧀

Recall away from chasing butterflies, no whistle this time just crouched down low & waved my arms about. He looked at me then came running over with lots of wriggling and happy tail wags. He got lots of praise plus cheese tax. 🧀🧀🧀

Encouraged him to do lots of sniffing in the gorse bushes.

Later: two off-lead spaniels appeared. Managed with hot dog scatter and line control. Bruno noticed, then disengaged and went back to sniffing. No lunge, no escalation.

Proud of his progress. Trust the process.
