Today was a special milestone for Ripley! After attending two puppy sessions to help him get used to the salon environment, he came in for his very first full’ in boy’ groom.
He was an absolute superstar from start to finish and made me so proud. Well Ripley! 🤩⭐️🐾

I’m so happy to be taking part in the Women Supporting Women in Business Open Day on Sunday 12th July at Wayne’s Barber Shop! 💕

This is a wonderful opportunity to support local women-owned businesses, meet some amazing entrepreneurs, and discover the fantastic products and services our community has to offer.

🍰 I will be there with a selection of delicious homemade treats, and I’d love to see some familiar faces come along and say hello!

I’ve finally got around to sorting google reviews 🤯🤗🙈 I’m such a pen and paper kinda gal 🤪

I’ve had a photo of the link on my salon wall for the past week and continually forgot to ask people to scan it 🙈

So I sent the link out to my amazing puppy parents today, and the reviews that are coming in melt my heart ❤️ they are really appreciated, you wouldn’t believe how much they help small businesses to grow and succeed.

I had the opportunity yesterday to spend the day with Grooming by Leah and watch her work up close. I absolutely loved it!

It was a fantastic day for networking and meeting new people and doggos! 🐶

Continuing my professional development is really important to me. There are always new things to learn and new ways to make the grooming experience even more enjoyable for our four-legged companions.

My aim is to improve with every groom I do and provide the very best one-to-one service possible.

💚 A Little Appreciation Post 💚

When I started The Little Barn Grooming Boutique, I thought I was opening a dog grooming business.

What I didn't realise was just how many wonderful people I would meet along the way.

Of course, I love spending my days with your dogs – the cuddles, the kisses, the wagging tails and seeing them leave feeling pooch perfect. But what has surprised me most is the relationships I'm building with their humans too.

As many of you know, alongside grooming I'm also a Children's Community Nurse, and I think the empathy, compassion and listening skills I've developed over the years naturally come with me into the salon.

Sometimes a grooming appointment is more than just a haircut. It's a catch-up, a laugh, sharing life's ups and downs, celebrating good news, or simply having someone there to listen. And honestly, I feel privileged to be trusted with both your dogs and those little conversations along the way.

I absolutely love being part of this local community and can't wait to meet even more of you over the summer at local dog shows and events.

Thank you for supporting my little dream, for trusting me with your precious dogs, and for making this journey so much more than just grooming.

Here's to many more muddy paws, wagging tails, friendly chats and wonderful friendships. 🐾❤️
