The dog dedicated van is fully fitted with professional double entrance crates and ventilation to ensure your dog is always comfortable and safe during transit.

Its National Beagle Day!

Back in 2018 on this day (The year I started working for myself as The Little Hound) over a 1,000 Beagles managed to break The Guiness World Record for biggest breed walk - which we still hold 💪

Beagles are a breed that divide dog walkers like no other 😆 most dog walkers hate them, because they don't understand them. I know plenty of walkers that refuse to take them on!

But as single minded as they are, I just cant help but love them. They are here to please nobody but themselves most of the time, but are equally super loving, loyal and everybodys friend 🧡

A shout out to Lola, who started it all, and Nellie, Teddy, Dora, Milo, Dexter aswell as the Beagle mixes, Nugget, Rhubarb & Ronny 🫶 Happy National Beagle day!

Its bluebell season!

I always look forward to this time of year, it's a marker that winter is well and truly behind us, and we can start enjoying some warm sunny days.

The native bluebell is incredibly slowgrowing, only present in the older woodlands, and are very delicate. As a huge plant lover, I get so excited to see them!

This also means extra care is taken to ensure dogs do not trample them and photos are taken by them, not IN them, so they can survive for years to come. Theyre also protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 🤓

I had an email this weekend saying, my first aid had run out, however with first aid always being updated, I always renew before it runs out!

Every time I practise, and refresh my knowledge, it means I am more equipped to deal with an actual emergency.

In the 11 years of being in this industry, I have had two life threatening situations. One of those was a dog in my care, that began choking, and the other, was a dog i found laying in the middle of Leeming Lane, having broke every major bone in her body except her neck. Both survived.

And that's why I will always ensure my first aid is in date.
