Job Specification
Are you a dog lover looking to turn your passion into a rewarding job? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Dog Daycare Assistant to work in a busy and thriving environment, looking after an established pack of dogs. Applicants will be friendly, reliable, punctual and have an outgoing personality.
As a Dog Daycare Assistant, you will be responsible for caring for and supervising a variety of dogs in a safe and fun environment. Your duties will include feeding, planning activities and playing with the dogs, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the daycare arena. You will be available to work 7 hours a day on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. Overtime will be available on certain weeks and must be worked.
You will also interact with pet owners, providing updates via our social media platforms and ensuring their furry friends are happy and well-cared for.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, keen initiative and the ability to work well in a team, or on their own. A qualification relating to animals would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given in-house. Some experience of working in the animal sector would also be beneficial.
