Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

Alpine Paws exists because of one very important dog.

Sansa was the original inspiration, the product tester, the (un)willing model, the reason there are approximately 218 dog-related things in our house at any given time… and, ultimately, the reason Alpine Paws exists at all.

It started with simply wanting better kit for the places we wanted to take her.

What started with making gear for one dog has ended up in the hands (and on the backs) of so many others, which still catches us off guard a little - because what do you mean I get messages saying they were recommended our brand or saw it our gear out in public and looked us up 😭 Every dog wearing something of ours is now part of a story that started with our little house bear.

So today, we’re celebrating Sansa, and every dog who’s joined us along the way - Happy International Dog Day to all of the dogs who are part of Alpine Paws🤎

A comfortable spot for your dog to rest, wherever the day takes you. The Alpine Paws Travel Mat rolls up neatly for easy carrying, so it can come along on camping trips, hikes, beach days, café stops and everything in between.

We wanted something lightweight enough to actually take with you, with just enough padding to give your dog a comfortable place to stop without turning into another piece of bulky equipment to carry around. At 100 × 70cm, there’s plenty of room to stretch out, while the water-resistant outer and non-slip underside make it practical for outdoor use 🏕️

Introducing our content creators!

We honestly didn’t expect quite so many applications. Unfortunately, the team behind Alpine Paws consists of one human, and one dog with no opposable thumbs (or concept of sorting through emails), so it took us a little longer than anticipated😮‍💨

After receiving over 800 applications, we had the incredibly difficult job of choosing just a handful of creators to work with. Thank you to everyone who applied – narrowing it down wasn’t easy, and we genuinely hope we get the chance to work with many more of you in the future.

Today, we’re so excited to introduce the talented people (and their equally talented dogs 🐾) we’ll be working with 🏔️🌲

The brown hiking harness you’ve been looking for this summer 🥾🏔️

When we designed our Adventure Harness, every feature had to answer one question:

Would this actually make travelling with our own dog easier?

That’s why you’ll find padded grab handles for helping over stiles, into the car or across trickier terrain. Three storage pockets for the little things you’d rather not keep in your own pockets (hello p**p bags that have been through the laundry 8 times). Three lead attachment rings, including front clip, so you can choose the setup that suits you. Four adjustment points for a tailored fit, plus dual patch panels ready for assistance patches, training patches or souvenirs collected along the way.

And because peace of mind matters too, our harnesses have been independently strength tested here in the UK 🇬🇧
