Due to becoming so busy and having such a long wait for appointments I have decided to get someone in to help.
I am looking for someone who is patient,loves dogs,100% reliable and physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods and lifting.
You will be required to bath and dry all dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments there will be some customer service involved aswell.
The job will be 2 days a week and within school hours. Exact hours and days to be discussed.

The bad news is I do not have any appointments left for May and June is nearly all booked up! If you haven't booked your dog in please think 8 weeks ahead.

Hope everyone is ok. I'm hoping for more information on the 22nd February when government give us more information in the mean time if your dog is matting or out of control give me a ring!

On a different note
I am thinking of supplying pet food is this something people would be interested in? If so what food would you like me to supply?

We would like you to class Dog grooming (animal grooming) as an essential business during lock down periods and in all tiers. We would like to be able to operate as number under strict guidelines as set out by the government.

As a result of little guidance I have received I will be Grooming dogs as part of there general welfare.
Travelling to me is an issue again it will be against the law for you to travel to me if your dog is not classed as having welfare issues.

My advice is if you have a breed of dog that is groomed regularly but can go until March without becoming a welfare issue ie: matted, please think about cancelling your appointment.

If you feel uncomfortable about leaving your home to attend your appointment I understand but please let me know.

PLEASE PLEASE if you have any symptoms or have been in contact with someone who MAY have or a positive case of covid 19 please cancel your appointment. I cannot stress enough how important this is.

So here we go again!!
I am awaiting news from the council and MP to see if I'm allowed to stay open.

It states that Groomers can stay open for welfare cases but this is such a grey area. I believe getting your dog groomed regularly is a welfare case, waiting until your dog is matted is irresponsible and unfair on your dog.

So I will be contacting everyone that has an appointment in due course. Please bare with me.

Just to keep everyone updated my earliest appointment is now 22nd January 2021 and my earliest Saturday appointment is the 27th February 2021.
So my advice is please think ahead when booking your dog in.
