Two spaces for DIY livery are now available on our small, quiet, private yard. Gelding preferred, to go in herd with mare and gelding. 24/7 turnout in the summer, daily turnout in winter. Use of neighbour's manège. Ideally suit hacking or semi/retired horse looking for a quiet life with the rest of our herd. Located just south of Malton.

If you think you know how to de-worm your horse, prepare to be surprised. Find out how to protect your horse, preserve your grazing AND SAVE MONEY!

Well maybe you do, but please don't be complacent. Resistance to de-wormers in horses is reaching alarming levels and the thinking on how we should de-worm our horses has changed a lot recently. The amount of worm-related disease has also increased even in horses that have been wormed regularly.

Experts are agreed that traditional de-worming practices must change. The regular use of certain classes of de-wormer and rotation of de-wormers each year are ideas which are outdated. Up to 70-80% of doses of de-wormer may be unnecessary.
