Albus the Red Maine C**n comes in for his regular grooming session every 8 weeks, at the cat clinic 😻 Like most cats, he hates being inclosed in his cat carrier when travelling to the parlour. The Maine C**n breed is a large cat and extremely intelligent. They adapt well to being trained to wear a cat harness. I always recommend Olivia Cat Jackets as I have trained my own pedigree Ragdolls to wear them. These jackets are the best on the market to keep your gorgeous fur babies safe when travelling places or when generally walking them out & about.

It's been a busy few weeks dog grooming at the parlour here. Lots of regulars have booked in for baths, blow drys & coat trimming to help keep the fur babies cooler 🐶✂️

Bluey is a regular at my cat grooming clinic 😻 She is truly scrumptious ❤️ The Siberian breed has a thick semi-long coat. They have a triple layered coat that needs regular grooming to avoid any knotting or matting.
I adore my cats & have years of experience grooming & owning pedigree long-haired cats. In my cat clinic, I love talking to my owners about their cats' behaviour, grooming tools, grooming tips & advise on how to maintain their cats coat.

Here's a few tips for owners of semi-long & and long-haired cats:

Brush & comb your cat weekly, to remove loose fur and prevent matting.

Brush & comb more frequently during shedding season.
Daily grooming of your cats coat in the spring & autumn when they shed their winter coat is a must, to prevent coat matting.

Use the right tools. Use a slicker brush, metal comb & metal rake to comb through their thick fur.

Check your cats coat condition when grooming. Grooming is a great time to check your cats for fleas, lumps & skin issues.

It's also a great opportunity to build your relationship with your fur baby 😀😻👍
