"Had the pleasure of meeting Helen and Adrian today for the first time to remove matts from my very grumpy cat - it was like she had been hypnotised from the moment we walked in. The experience was pleasurable for her, much to my amazement as I had warned Helen about her temperament. Bluey is a regular at my cat grooming clinic 😻 She is truly scrumptious ❤️ The Siberian breed has a thick semi-long coat. They have a triple layered coat that needs regular grooming to avoid any knotting or matting.
I adore my cats & have years of experience grooming & owning pedigree long-haired cats. In my cat clinic, I love talking to my owners about their cats' behaviour, grooming tools, grooming tips & advise on how to maintain their cats coat.

Here's a few tips for owners of semi-long & and long-haired cats:

Brush & comb your cat weekly, to remove loose fur and prevent matting.

Brush & comb more frequently during shedding season.
Daily grooming of your cats coat in the spring & autumn when they shed their winter coat is a must, to prevent coat matting.

Use the right tools. Use a slicker brush, metal comb & metal rake to comb through their thick fur.

Check your cats coat condition when grooming. Grooming is a great time to check your cats for fleas, lumps & skin issues.

It's also a great opportunity to build your relationship with your fur baby 😀😻👍

Pucis came into my regular Friday cat grooming clinic for a good pamper session 😻✂️❤️ I keep his coat regularly maintained with a full coat de-shed, coat conditioner spray, full coat comb out & finally a claw trimming every 8 weeks.

I offer regular claw trimming for all breeds of dogs in my parlour. Hand stripping dogs' coats may be hard to find in your area as not many groomers are trained in this technique. I offer this service & have over 25 years experience in this.
