It’s just over a year since I stopped actively advertising my freelance grooming services… after quietly continuing on with some regular clients and focusing on my other full time job. ☹️

And a year on I find myself in a situation where I’ve been looking for freelance help and struggling to say the least ! Back in January I found Oxford ! A 16.3 Billy stud mare which I loaned for a few months and brought back into work before buying. It hasn’t been easy with bringing her back into work towards the end of winter and her being quite cheeky but we’ve got to a point now where she is the most calmest to hack out and we have some exciting prospects of continuing dressage lessons and getting out to some shows !

But with my usually busy work schedule I found that I was needing someone to come and help keep Oxford ticking over when I was occupied with my Children’s support worker role - a very rewarding job that I hold close to my heart.

After being messed around, coming across people that weren’t quite what they said they were, having people rock up late, and overall not deliver a 110% service that I used to made me wonder … why not offer my services in my new location ? 🤯

Why don’t I become the thing I have been looking for and been so unsuccessful in finding.

So for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced freelancer. Fully insured and Certified under the British Grooms Association as a an equine Freelancer here I am ! 🎖️ 😏

Whether it’s mucking out, clipping, bathing, grooming, plaiting and show prep and support look no further! Not to mention in hand work, lunging, polework, hacking … the list is endless ! 🐴

I am located in Upper Walton ( Onibury) covering the Ludlow area and beyond… the same as I offered before regarding a flexible radius 🗺️

Immaculate quality as hardly worn - purchased last winter and has been kept clean and well looked after.

Sensible offers as these rugs don’t often come up for sale second hand and I’m only selling due to no longe needing rugs in this smaller size.

Now this is a CLEAN coat! 😍

Did you know that dirty coats are both bad for your horse, and my clippers?!😞

So, why should your horse be as clean as possible for clipping? 🤨

• To prevent dirt, grease, mud, grit etc blunting blades super quickly, causing them to snag and pull on your horse’s hair. 🐎

• To look after my clipper motors - dirty hair and blunt blade will put excess strain on the motor, which will cause damage, and an expensive repair bill. 💴 💰 💵

• To make is as comfortable an experience as possible for the horse - hair snagging HURTS. 🫠

• To get the smoothest, most flawless, perfect clip possible. 💁🏼‍♀️

Dirt/ Dust/ Grease = lines and patches. As much as possible I like there to be minimal clipping lines however this is unavoidable when the horses coat isnt clean.🤦🏼

• To avoid a ‘dirty horse’ surcharge from your professional clipper.
We hate clipping the horse like this, we hate what it does to our equipment, we hate charging more money.
