Thank you to everyone who has bought locally grown plants in aid of hedgehog conservation at The Pet Tank this year. They are nearly all gone now, but the last few plants are on a final reduction to clear. All remaining flowers just £5 for the lot and all remaining Brussel sprout plants just £1 for the lot. When they're gone they're gone.

Who we are

The Pet Tank is a 5 star rated, independent, family-run pet shop committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of pet care, nutrition, and health while providing good, old-fashioned customer service.

Andy Needham (Proprietor) established The Pet Tank in the Summer of 2013 following the acquisition of The Fodder Shop/Lowestoft Pet and Reptile Centre. Andy has a strong background in the aquatics and pet trade industry and has always had a keen interest in fishkeeping which he is happy to share with others.

We sell a wide variety of pet foods and accessories, fish, small animals, and reptiles and in the warmer months, we have a well stocked pond department. If we don’t have what you require, then please don’t hesitate to ask if we can order it for you.

We are open five days a week from 9:00 to 5:30 (Tuesday to Saturday). With the launch of our website and online shop (www.thepettank.co.uk) we are now able to offer our customers a wider variety of products with new lines being added all the time. We also offer a free local delivery service (terms and conditions apply).
