🍃🌿 Pistia stratiotes (Water lettuce) 🌿🍃
We have just received delivery of a large batch of Pistia stratiotes. Pistia stratiotes is a perennial, evergreen, floating pond plant that will spread across your pond by producing miniature versions of itself. This delicate, rosette shaped aquatic plant is ideal for smaller ponds that cannot accommodate a lily, and wildlife ponds where it will provide cover for the species that live there. In the summer they produce small whiteish green flowers.

Including, new from NTLabs, "Optimus" and "Satus" in handy trial size bottles for just £1 each. Optimus is a dechlorinator and water conditioner and Satus quickly establishes and enhances biofilters. Both are concentrated and effective for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums.

🎉🎉It's back!! National Pet Shop Day 2026! 🎉🎉

Support your local, independent pet store by joining us on Saturday 11th July.

Come and meet the animals (we have fish 🐟, reptiles 🦎, and invertebrates 🕷) and learn all about them.

There will also be games and giveaways to take part in. All money raised will be shared between LIB Dog Rescue 🐕 and HedgeHog Haven OultonBroad 🦔.

We're sure to have something for everyone and we're really looking forward to seeing you on the day ☺️
