Here are some of our frequently asked questions which we hope you will find useful...
✔️ Are you fully insured?
Yes we are fully insured for dog training.
🌧 Do you cancel lessons if it's raining?
We will only cancel in extreme weather such as a thunderstorm. Your dog doesn’t care if it’s raining, just make sure you dress according to the weather.
🐶 Do I need to bring anything to class?
Yes you will need a short walking lead and a long line training lead. Please also bring smelly treats, water and a water bowl.
👧 Can I bring my children?
We fully encourage family learning however children must be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of their parents/carers.
🐾 What training methods do you use?
We only use force free, positive reinforcement in our training classes.
⭐ Will the classes help with my dogs obedience?
Yes they will, but only if you continue all the training learnt in classes at home in a consistent and persistent way. Attendance at classes alone will not reinforce the behaviour you want from your dog. There will be tasks set every week for you to practice at home and we view training as a lifelong commitment, whether formally or informally.
✔️ Is the trainer qualified?
Yes, all of our trainers are qualified. Wigglewags is also a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers, giving all our customers reassurance that we are regulated by a strict code of conduct and have the experience and knowledge required to train family dogs.
🐶 Do you provide socialisation classes?
Socialisation is part of all our training classes.
