🍂🐾 A Gentle Stroll with Benji 🐾🍂

Benji and I enjoyed the cooler weather today with a lovely, peaceful little mosey around together. 💛

No rushing, no big adventures, just taking our time, having a good sniff, enjoying the fresh air and each other’s company.

Sometimes the slow walks are the best ones. 🐕✨

☀️🐾 Keeping Cool & Reuniting with Old Friends 🐾☀️

The past few weeks have been all about making the most of the early mornings and finding the coolest spots during this persistent hot weather! ☀️🥵

I’ve enjoyed some lovely early morning walks with Nala, while it’s still cool enough for a good wander, sniff and explore. 🌿🐾

And then came a very special reunion with my boy Teddy. ❤️ After some time apart, it was so lovely to see him again. We took things nice and easy with a shaded walk, taking our time and enjoying each other’s company.

It’s been a little too hot for long adventures lately, so we’ve been adapting... early starts, shady routes, plenty of sniffing and lots of water!

☀️🐾 Morning Stroll at St Chad’s 🐾☀️

Benji and I made the most of the cooler morning sunshine with a lovely walk around St Chad’s yesterday. 💛

We wandered by the pond, said hello to lots of friendly people, and met plenty of other dogs along the way. As always, Benji was happy to stop for a sniff, a wag, and to make a few new friends. 🐕🐾

The early mornings really are the best at the moment, cooler, calmer, and perfect for a relaxed stroll before the day warms up.
A lovely start to the day with a very happy little explorer. 🌿✨

☀️🐾 Keeping Cool with Benji 🐾☀️
Benji and I enjoyed a gentle walk today, taking things nice and slow in the warm weather. 💛

It was quite a surprise to see that the lake had almost completely dried up because of the drought. It looked so different from the last time we visited, a real reminder of just how dry it's been.

We stuck to the shadier spots where we could, took plenty of time to sniff, and made sure not to overdo it. Benji was more than happy with a relaxed pace and lots of little breaks. 🐕🌿

When it's hot, slower walks are the best walks.

Benji and I made the most of the sunshine today, enjoying a lovely walk and each other’s company. 💛🐕

Sometimes the simplest walks are the best, just sunshine, fresh air, a wagging tail, and good company.

A peaceful little moment in the day, and one I’m very grateful for. ✨

🌿🐾 Forest Walks & Summer Air 🐾🌿

Benji and I headed through the forest this morning and enjoyed a warm, muggy walk beneath the trees. The ground was still damp from the rain, and the air had that fresh, earthy smell that only comes after a wet spell. 🌳✨

Benji was in his element, nose down and tail wagging, making sure no scent went unexplored along the way. 🐕💛

It might have been a little warm and sticky, but there’s something special about those quiet morning walks when the forest is waking up around you.

🌥️🐾 Moody Skies & Woodland Wanders 🐾🌥️

Benji and I enjoyed a lovely walk down by the river today, with those dramatic moody skies making everything feel extra peaceful. 💛🐕

Later, Nala and I headed into the woods and stumbled across an old run-down barn hidden away between the trees, one of those unexpected little finds that makes a walk feel like an adventure. 🌲✨

Somehow we managed to stay dry too, which definitely felt like a bonus! 😅

🌧️🐾 St Chad’s Strolls & Snuggly Car Naps 🐾🌧️

Benji and I enjoyed a lovely walk around St Chad’s today... calm, peaceful, and full of interesting sniffs along the way. 💛🐕

We just about made it before the rain caught us at the end, turning our nice dry walk into a quick dash back to the car! 😅🌧️

Safe to say, Benji recovered well, curled up under his blankets and fast asleep before we’d even driven off. A cosy little passenger after a good adventure. 💤✨

☀️🐾 Lakeside Sunshine with Benji 🐾☀️

Benji and I made the most of the sunshine today, soaking it all up by the lake. 💛

A calm, easy walk with plenty of pauses to just enjoy the view. Benji happily pottering about, nose down as always, then stopping to take it all in (or so I’d like to think 😄). 🐕✨

Sometimes it’s the simple moments... sunshine, water, and a content little dog, that make the best kind of day.

🌥️🐾 Moody Skies & Riverside Strolls 🐾🌥️

Had a lovely walk with Benji along Sawley Beech by the river this week. The skies were a bit moody, but the air was warm and calm, one of those quiet, thoughtful kind of walks.

Benji was in his element as always, nose down, taking in every scent along the riverside and enjoying the slower pace. 🐕💛

Not every walk needs sunshine to be beautiful. Sometimes the calm, grey ones are just as special.
