🍁❄️ 15 minutes every day will do more for your senior horse this winter than a 2-hour hack at the weekend.

Got a big hack planned this weekend? Think about it like this…

Pilates four or five days a week. 🧘‍♀️
Or one big run on a Saturday. 🏃‍♂️

Which one keeps your body moving well? And which one leaves you sore on Monday? 😅

Senior horses are exactly the same, especially in winter, when they're stood in more and moving less.💖

Little and often keeps the joints moving. It keeps the deep postural muscles switched on. And it avoids the peaks and dips of a big weekend session followed by days of nothing.

And it all counts:
✔ Hand walking
✔ In-hand work
✔ Walk hacking
✔ A few walk poles

A wonderful weekend with Lindsay and Lexi! It’s been an absolute pleasure having them stay with us.. . and another Western lesson bagged for Lucy 😂.. that’s 3 this summer!

Lucy and ‘Super Saff’ headed out this morning on lead horse duties with Nicola and Wally.

We had a lovely morning and stayed dry which is always a triumph when showers are forecast 💪😀🐎
