✨ LONDON INTERNATIONAL SHOWING SERIES – QUALIFIER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Emma Irwin and her Show Cob is BallyMoyle StingRay aka Diesel have qualified for the Rising Star of Cob Type class on their first attempt! 👏

The Show wasn’t without some stress though, they travelled 2 hours and then 20 mins before tacking up Emma realised she'd forgotten her show numnah! No one had a spare one until a lovely lady approached her asking if she could borrow her boots, and they ended up doing a swapsies 😂

''I massively struggle with my confidence and anxiety but I want people to know that it is possible and we can all do it with the help and support of people around us. My best friend Sophie has to give me pep talks regularly just to get going so that is so important to have someone who’s in your corner. Diesels making many of my dreams and ambitions come true and we are working together to be the best we can be. I would like to thank everyone involved for this fantastic opportunity for us amateur riders! We really do appreciate it!''

✨ LONDON INTERNATIONAL SHOWING SERIES – QUALIFIER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Congratulations to Sarah Field and Hamers Lane Boy (Tonka) who have qualified for the London International Horse Show Rising Star Cobs Class!

Sarah has been showing cobs as an amateur rider for about 10 years, working in the medical industry for her day job. She started her showing journey later in life and this certainly gave her lots of fun and great opportunities to ride at some amazing venues and make some great friends through the showing community.

''I cannot wait to ride at London International - as a child this was a yearly event for me with my family and now in middle age I never imagined that I would be riding at this Show! ✨ LONDON INTERNATIONAL SHOWING SERIES – QUALIFIER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Daisy Murray tells us that Saveasea (or Norman to his friends) came to her straight off the racetrack 3 years ago only knowing how to walk in a straight line, and never thought that they would qualify for LIHS!

This year is their first showing season and they've already had so much success, Norman has been nothing but a pleasure to produce and they can’t wait to attend one of the most prestigious Shows on the calendar!

Nicola Byam got horse Bella 15 months ago for her growing son and has been helping ride her, when her big sister suggested they try showing and since took her to her first ever Show at West Wilts.

Bella loved every moment & her wonderful temperament and floating movement shone through; one of the judges said she would love to ride her which is the ultimate compliment!
