Amazing few days at British Show Pony Society Summer Champs with Inbhear Hugo 😍💗

A lot of firsts! First stay away show, first time in the ring in an absolute downpour with lots of splashing and first ever evening performance indoors with music & under the lights 🎬✨

He took everything in his stride and did not put a hoof out of place all week! Really fantastic strong BSPS Novice & BSPS Challenge NF/Connie class and he was 2nd in both 💙 earning himself a spin in the championship in the evening, I was super proud with how he took it all in for a pony who has only been to a handful of shows 💕 now enjoy all my pictures and videos of him because I love him so much 😂

We went for it in the downpour; he is a Connemara so he should be used to the rain?!? That was my logic anyway 💦🐟🌊☘️😆

Hugo was amazing in the rain and didn’t care at all!! 😍😍😍 really pleased with second place in this quality class at the champs ✨❤️‍🔥

Handsome Hugo strikes again! 🫶🏻💞

Hugo was absolutely brilliant at NPS Area 7! Lots of new experiences for him, travelling next to Thunder and going into a stable for a day, which for some stallions can be interesting but he took it all in his stride.

Very pleased with his behaviour and how he went in a busy enough class! 1st NPS Confined Novice Ridden and Reserve Champion 💙

I did actually vlog some of the day, so will get the bits and pieces together this week and try post it 🥰

Thunder airlines ✈️

NPS Area 7 - well we must have picked one of the biggest qualifiers I’ve ever jumped for my first one back (oops) it was causing absolute carnage and I only walked the 12hh 🥲😂 I was nervous getting back jumping these big tracks but only nervous that I was going to let Thunder down, I know he can do it! 💗

Jumped 1-6 like an absolute pro and was starting to think oh yeah this is going well; landed from 6, dropped my outside rein (well done🙃) cos he jumped so big (water tray pic is number 6) so then I could ride my line properly to the big oxer double into a one stride up right so kinda panic rode a bit and pushed for a long one (wrong thing to do) luckily Thunder knew and was like wtf mum chipped one in so save both of us and took a pole with us and somehow got out and over the up right leaving it up 😅😂 apologised to him round the rest of the course and managed to ride half sensible 😆 ended up 4th place which I am absolutely over the moon with. Thunder is just such an incredible pony and has a heart of gold 💛 jumped the rest of the course lovely.

Apologised to him some more and gave him a packet of carrots (posh ones from M&S)🥕😂overall absolutely loved being back and he just jumped incredibly💗✨
