We’re incredibly proud of our wonderful receptionist Wendy, who is taking on the Fans vs Dementia challenge in support of Dementia UK 💙

This is such an important cause, helping families who are living with dementia access vital support when they need it most. Just £19 could cover the telephone costs for five families to call the free Helpline — making a real difference during difficult times.

🐾 Meet Our New Vet – Chloe Pattie! 🐾

We’re delighted to welcome Chloe to the team here at Ark Vet Centre!

Chloe graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2023 and has since gained valuable experience working in mixed animal practice in the south west of Scotland. She brings a real passion for animal care and a friendly, dedicated approach to her work.

Outside of the clinic, Chloe loves spending time with her dogs—especially walking and training them in agility. In fact, she’s currently part of the Scotland Agility Team! 🐕✨

Please join us in giving Chloe a warm welcome to the team! 🐮

A day to celebrate the tiniest paws and their big personalities🐾

Helping your kitten get comfortable with their carrier at home and bringing your puppy in for positive socialisation visits can make future vet trips much less stressful and far more enjoyable for them 🤩🐾

🐈 Cat blood pressure clinics🐈

We are offering all cats over the age of 7 an initial blood pressure check with one of our nurses for FREE🤩

High blood pressure in cats is often a silent issue, and if left untreated, it can lead to serious health problems⛑️

The clinics will take up to 30 minutes (you are welcome to leave your cat with us and come back for them later)🩺
