Tomorrow I celebrate 3 years of Pawsome Pet Nanny. I thought I'd go to the first 6 months of my camera roll. Obviously my camera quality has improved 😅 and I learned how to take better pictures.
There were more clients and animals; some who have crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈💔 some who have moved out of the area and others that have moved on and these shown above, are the ones that were there from the beginning and still here today.

I am so so thankful to you (and all my other clients who I've been blessed to meet since) you have given me the opportunity to live a life I absolutely love and cherish with every part of me.

The first photo is little me with our family cat Flash, I spent years dreaming of a life like this, so I'm making little Rhi's dreams come true and making her proud by doing the best I can 💚

Just a reminder, next week I am on annual leave from Sunday 7th June - Sunday 14th June

I am looking forward to switching off and enjoying a couple of days out and about but will hopefully, mostly have my feet up 😊 even better if I get to spend a week in my pool but the weather doesn't look up to it

Great week thanks to my clients flexibility and doing what's best for the welfare of their doggies.
We've had fun in my garden; finding treats, keeping cool in the paddling pool (me, Sausage and Rosie were the only ones brave enough) and just enjoying having extra cuddles 😊🤗 Then heading out further afield earlier than usual to ensure I'm done before the heat got unbearable.

Hope you all make the most of this sunshine before the rain next week 😂😅 have a fab weekend, I'll see you Monday 🐾

This was a message my mum sent after spending the weekend here with me. Instead of the usual 'what I got up to' posts I thought I'd share this;

Every part of the day is marvellous & full of wonder, from the early morning damp air, flooded w birdsong, to the ducks & hens being excited, coming out of their nighttime accommodation; to the fields full of tiny buttercups that open & close every single day; 😊
to each of the dogs, with their own personalities, Dottie digging for England; Humphrey and Basil chasing each other to the next gate or up and down the big hills in their fields, to darling little Darcy, so determined to enjoy every minute, keeping up w her giant companions & we mustn't forget Twiggy, who's probably dreaming of being paraded in front of the judges at a special Wensleydale Sheep Show, being awarded w the red '1st prize' rosette

BUT most of all - Y O U my Dear, who arises at dawn to perform all your duties w dogged perspicacity & dedicated attention to each and every detail, as only a one hundred per cent professional care giver would do. You're wonderful Rhi please believe it, you keep at it right through to dusk and beyond .. even when you're sitting on a sofa, you're thinking "did I do this, did I do that, what's next, what must I remember, what mustn't I forget, how long before I have to do this or how long till I've got to do that" - I can see now how it is hard work, keeping up w careful timings and every detail. Getting in the habit, is such a skillful thing to do, in order to have these routines set up in your head, so your brain can think of other things at the same time

And do you know what? -

You're doing it all stunningly, absolutely brilliantly and it shows by how each and every one of those animals love you and respect you for who you are, while you're caring for them all during your "Pet-Sit" which is the most inappropriate understating, put-down title for the amazing job you're doing! And don't you forget it 💕

I talked about this briefly on my story the other day, but wanted to do a whole post. I apologise if it's an essay.

Thank you for creating this workshop for us to take part in and enjoy. Amy taught us the benefits of canine massage, showed us through PowerPoint presentation what the techniques were, where and where not on the body to do them.
Then we brought our dogs in to practice on them.
Thank you to who has invested in an incredible venue and space for people to bring their dogs to use for: scent work, puppy training, various workshops and more.

For me, it's so important to continue learning and collecting more skills on how to care for your pets while I stay with them. I love that I can offer more and will never stop asking or learning on how to make your pets experience with me as great as possible.

If you do have any concerns or are intrigued to find out more on physiotherapy for your pets, the last slide is Amy's leaflet and you can see her contact information on there. I highly recommend booking in to see her to help your dogs such as; getting older and more stiff, a working dog needing extra care, one of your pets is struggling to jump in and out of the car. These are just some of the ways Amy can support you and your pet.

Lastly, thank you to the owners of Basil who encouraged me to go to this workshop. I mentioned it to them as I would be pet sitting there at the time and I didn't want to leave everyone else at their home for too long. So a huge thanks because it was an incredible morning. I will be refreshing Emma's website often keeping an eye out for other workshops to continue my learning in the animal sector, because knowledge is power ☺️

This week has been full on 😂 glorious sunshine and a full diary!

I have loved every minute. Truth be told, I'm not sure if it's my medication, the sunshine or just (nearly) 3 years in but something has changed and I am loving where I'm at with this business. We all wish for more money; I don't think I'll ever be able to own my own house or get a brand new car but I will be able to say I love my job and would rather be physically tired from this than mentally drained from a 9-5 (no hate just doesn't suit me)

Anyway, Bank Holiday weekend is here!
I'm still at the farm, nearly one week in, I will be putting my feet up in-between duties.
Hope you all have a great time whatever your plans are
