🏆 A young farmer from Wales has been recognised for his entrepreneurial skill and tenacious endeavours by winning a highly coveted business award, and he dedicated the achievement to a family member who died three years ago.

Lewis Thomas, from a fifth generation farming family in Llanelli, was named Carmarthenshire's Young Business Person of the Year last month, which recognizes young and ambitious business talent, which acknowledge the success of his poultry enterprise, Chickwood Poultry.

Chickwood Poultry will be quiet for a week as I’m in Scotland earning my first cap as a member of the Welsh International Fly Fishing Team. Three practice days before the big day on Thursday. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇪. Thank you Mam, Tadcu and Mamgu for looking after the hens 🐔🐔.

A great day out on August bank holiday monday at Pontardulais Show / Sioe Pontarddulais. Chickwood Poultry is excited to sponsor the egg classes in the horticultural tent. There is plenty of entertainment throughout the day and competitions for you to enter.
