Mid Surrey Pony Club Mid Surrey Branch was established in 1931 and is part of Pony Club Area 11. We have a current membership of approximately 200.

Our base is the Pony Club Field where we hold rallies, activities, team training and shows. MOUNTED GAMES MINIS
Two teams of very excited minis took part in Bisley & Sandown Chase’s mounted games friendly competition on Sun 17th May.

The Mid Surrey team spirit was at its very best and the two teams rode fantastically. They’ve trained really hard all Winter (thank you to Vicki for giving up her Saturday mornings!) and there were a few last minute changes, but the teams were true teams; cheering each other on and shouting words of support the whole way through.

With six races in the morning then five in the afternoon it was a long but fun day with the best results:

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in yesterday’s Mini Eventing competitions! πŸŽ‰πŸ΄

There were so many brilliant β€œfirsts” throughout the day - first one day event, first event at a new height, first outing with a new pony, even first event in a new riding hat!

Whether everything went exactly to plan or a few adventures were had along the way, every rider should feel incredibly proud of completing all 3 phases. πŸ‘

β€’ Sat 9 May 2pm–4pm
β€’ Or on the day of competition
⚠️ No dogs on the XC course.
⚠️ Children must be supervised if course walking while the course is in use.

πŸ”’ NUMBERS
Please print 3 copies:
β€’ 2 for your number bib (we have available to buy in barn)
β€’ 1 for the front of your horse transport vehicle (display in windscreen)

πŸ‡ WARM UP ARENAS
The warm-up arenas are small and located at the top of the field to the right of the car park.
Only 3 competitors at a time please, and follow instructions from the warm-up stewards.

πŸ“– DRESSAGE
β€’ Be ready to ride at your allocated time
β€’ Present for tack check 20 minutes before your test
β€’ Please check tack rules carefully - especially permitted bits for PC70/PC80, martingales and boots
β€’ Pink hat tags required, plus yellow tags if wearing spurs
β€’ Tests may be commanded

⚠️ SPURS
No yellow hat tag = no riding in spurs (all phases)

🎠 SHOWJUMPING
β€’ Present to SJ warm-up 20 minutes before your time for tack check
β€’ Do not proceed to the arena until instructed by the steward

🚢 SJ COURSE WALKING
The course will remain the same but lowered for each class height.
Walk the course:
β€’ Before 11:05am on Sunday
β€’ Or at the times shown in class boxes on Pony Club Results

🌳 CROSS COUNTRY
β€’ Report to the XC warm-up steward 20 minutes before your time for tack check
β€’ Do not go to the start until instructed
⚠️ Pink tagged hats and 2018 body protectors are compulsory
⚠️ Hair must be securely tied up and not obscure your rider number

β˜• The cabin will be open serving hot & cold drinks and food throughout the day.
