Hi! Let me re introduce myself!
My name is Sian and I am a mobile in home dog groomer. I started my business nearly 5 years ago after leaving a career I worked so hard to get! A career I thought I loved! I fell pregnant with my beautiful little boy and realised I need a change! Something more flexible, something more me!
So when my little boy was 3 weeks old I decided I would go to night college and train to become a dog groomer! I didn’t know where I would go after training and qualifying.
I tried volunteering? Hiring a table, even looked at working for someone else! Realised none of these options was for me! So I bought all my equipment and thought I would trial out working in people’s homes! I chucked all my stuff in the boot of my car! Set up in peoples homes and cracked on! And it was the best move I made!
I had a few rocky moments where I was ready to give up, but instead I changed how I worked and evolved my business! Learnt new skills, new trades and new ways to work! I have the best and loyal client base I could ask for! E have the bestest conversations and relationships! I get my customers and they get me! I am so so grateful for each one!
So here I am almost 5 years into my grooming career! I’m glad I took that leap! The opportunities it’s given me, friendships that have blossomed! I would never change it for the world!
Take that risk! Take that leap of faith! It will work out even when it gets rocky ❤️❤️❤️
