Our aim is to make sure your dog is happy and healthy and thoroughly enjoys their time at Precious Paws. There are several choices of environment for your dog at Precious Paws Doggy Day Care Liverpool, and we ensure that groups are small and that all dogs have a choice of where they want to play and rest. Our facilities are self contained within a small and very friendly light industrial park, close to all the major transport links – rail, motorway and airport. We have specifically designed and developed the unit to provide the perfect environment for optimising the experiences for dogs. The indoor arena is approximately 1200 sqf and consists of a sleep zone for rest, relaxation and music therapy. Large play area with toys and play equipment, and not forgetting specially allocated areas for puppies and older dogs. Our outdoor arena is over 5000sqf, which is divided into a play arena, agility arena, and has sandpits, a pool (in the summer) and a number of areas for your dogs to choose to spend their time. We believe that our facilities are second to none, and will ensure that your dog has fun in a safe and expertly constructed environment.

What a crazy Thursday! I think the whole gang must have had their coffee this morning 😂☕️

Little Robbo started us off with some early morning wrestles, Doug was straight into the zoomies and Romeo was BUZZIN to see Eddie, heading straight over to give him a couple of paws to the face to say hello 🤣

Maisie was loving a good game of tug of war, Berto was right there with her, while Koi and Luna had the best game of tug, winding each other up as usual! Dyl and Romeo were also getting up to their usual antics 😂

Time to slow things down with some scent spray in the sniffari. Lola Beagle absolutely loved it, although she was also enjoying her favourite game of barking at Jordan to chase her with her toy! 🤣

With the fireworks around, we headed inside for a nice calm afternoon, keeping everyone settled with beds, blankets and chairs until it was time to head home. ❤️🐾

Hope everyone has a lovely evening and stays safe! ❤️

A busy Wednesday with plenty of fun and games as always! 🐶❤️

We started the morning with lots of fuss from Mabes while waiting for the rest of the early gang to arrive. Roxy and Leo got straight into a good play, while Maud and Callie were off having the zoomies. Once Mabes had woken up a little, it was time for a good wrestle with Callie 😂

Kev and Bella were on a mission to see who could get closest to the treat pocket (no surprises there!). Arlo was on the wind-up, getting chased through and over the tunnel, Doug enjoyed a little wrestle and tug of war, while Boo and Nova were having their usual sisterly wrestles!

After such a busy morning, it was time to slow things down with Sniffari and a game of ‘go find’. We scattered treats around the arenas to get those noses working and help everyone settle before heading off to the beds and chairs for a well-deserved chill. 💤🐾

Hope everyone has had a lovely Wednesday! ❤️

What a lovely Tuesday with the gang! 🐶❤️

A lovely start to the morning with Pops, Doug and Enzo giving us plenty of fuss, while Crazy Ted was straight in showing us exactly how he got his nickname 😂

Romeo was absolutely buzzing to see Apollo after a few days apart, and it didn’t take long before Willow and Apollo were having a good wrestle. Bonnie and Woody were back to their usual selves, not wanting to leave each other alone! Nellie was having a blast in the tunnel, followed by tug of wars and zoomies with Koi and Woody.

Tali, Louie and Winston were all after their share of bum and belly rubs, while Maud was showing everyone just how fast she can fly through the tunnel! 💨

After a busy morning, it was time to head into the sniffari, get those noses working and bring the excitement levels down ready for little Ruby’s assessment.

A much calmer afternoon followed, and once the sun went down, it was time to get comfy on the beds and chairs, put those paws up and enjoy a well-earned rest. 💤

Hope everyone has had a lovely Tuesday! ❤️🐾

🐾 Little puppies need little days! 💜

We all love watching puppies play, explore and make new friends, but there's a lot more going on behind those gorgeous little faces!

Their bones, joints and brains are still developing, and while play and socialisation are important, so are plenty of sleep, rest and downtime. 💤

Too much excitement and activity can leave puppies overtired, overwhelmed and struggling to settle.

That's why at Precious Paws we don't believe in long daycare days for very young puppies.

Our puppy nursery sessions are carefully managed, with gentle introductions, age-appropriate play, enrichment and lots of rest.

It's about quality, not quantity. 💜

After all, we're not just caring for the puppy they are today, we're helping protect the dog they'll become. 🐶

🐾 PUPPY SOCIALISATION 🐾

We started off with a little recap of what we’ve been working on over the last couple of weeks, practising our “leave it” and “touch” cues. You can really see that everyone has been putting the work in at home 👏🏻🥰

Next up was “middle” and recall, getting the pups used to hearing their recall word and learning that coming back to their humans is always a good thing! 🐶🙌🏻

After all that brain work, it was time for a little fun and play! 🥳 It’s brilliant to see how much the pups have come on with their confidence. Watching them grow and develop each week is what it’s all about! ❤️

We finished off with our cup game to help the pups wind down, calm their brains and get ready to head home for a well-earned rest. ☕🐾

While the pups relaxed, we had a chat about the importance of sleep and rest, nutrition, and all things puppy! 🐶💤

Another brilliant session with lots of learning, confidence building and happy pups. Well done, everyone! 👏🏻❤️

🎃🐾 Thursday at daycare! 🐾🎃

We started the day with Luna Lab showing us just how gorgeous she looked in her pumpkin outfit! 🎃😍 Little Robbo, Doug and Betty got the morning started with a good play before the rest of the early gang arrived.

Romeo was straight on the wind-up with Apollo as soon as he walked through the door 😂 Maisie and Maud had their usual catch-up and smooches, joined by Luna Lab 🥰 Then Dyllie arrived dressed as a BAT and looked absolutely brilliant! 🦇❤️

Time for a little sniffari, belly rubs for Winston and a few games of go find! Some of the gang took full advantage of the chairs for a little rest before Oslo arrived for his 2-hour session. He did brilliantly, having a good play with Koi and even finding time to wind her up with the toys! 😂👏🏻

After all the fun, it was time for beds, chairs and a few well-earned naps before we do it all again tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a lovely evening, and we can’t wait to see what the Friday gang gets up to! 🐶❤️🐾

The rain stayed away today, so the whole gang enjoyed a brilliant day of play! 🥳🐶

Doug and Annie kicked things off with an early birthday play before the rest of the morning gang arrived. Annabelle and Pops started off with plenty of fuss before Mabes came in for some playtime ❤️ Callie and Leo got the zoomies going, while Theo and Lottie shared a little smooch 🥰

Joey and Tilly were absolutely smashing the Halloween costumes today! 🎃👏🏻 Looking spooktacular, you two! 😂👻

🎂 TIME TO CELEBRATE ANNIE’S 9TH BIRTHDAY! 🎂

We celebrated with the BEST birthday biscuits from PupcakesbyNed- Michelle 🧁 We hope you’ve had the best day, Annie, surrounded by all your daycare pals! ❤️

We even had a special birthday sniffari with hidden birthday biscuits for everyone to sniff out! 🐽🎉 Annie enjoyed a little birthday flirt with Arlo and Marlo, but it was Lola Beagle who took the crown for finding the birthday biscuits! 🏆😂

After all the excitement, it was time to hit the beds and chairs for a well-earned chill before everyone started heading home. 😴🐾

☀️🐾 A brilliant Tuesday in daycare! 🐾☀️

The sun stayed out for most of the day, and the Tuesday gang certainly made the most of it! 😂

As usual, it was a crazy morning with Dyl and Romeo getting their wrestles in, Nellie having a blast in the tunnel, and Henry and Eddie having their usual play sessions. Bonnie and Woody were busy flirting, while Tali soaked up what was left of the sunshine ☀️

Koi had a good run around with Woody, who seemed to make it his mission to play with half the gang today! Luna lab enjoyed a few games of tug of war, while Enzo and Jordan were busy winding each other up as always 😂💚

After a busy morning, it was time to slow things down with a sniffari, plenty of naps and some yummy biscuits from PupcakesbyNed- Michelle 🦴😴

🎂💚 A MASSIVE HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO MAUD! 💚🎂

We hope you’ve had the best day celebrating with all your friends! We honestly can’t believe you’re 5 already. What a pleasure it’s been watching you grow and being part of your journey. Here’s to many more birthdays filled with cuddles, smooches and fun! 🥰🐾

Hope everyone had a lovely Tuesday, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! 💚🐶

🐾 Does your dog’s harness give them room to move?

A strap sitting across the moving shoulder area may limit foreleg reach, while a tight chest strap can cause pressure and discomfort. Watch for shortened steps, rubbing or a harness that twists as your dog walks.

At Precious Paws, we favour a carefully fitted Y-front harness, such as PerfectFit, with straps meeting on the breastbone and room behind the elbows. 💜

But fit matters with every design. Even a Y-front harness can affect movement if it doesn’t suit your dog’s shape.

Repeated restriction may encourage your dog to change how they move, raising concerns about uneven loading and muscle strain.

Take a look while your dog walks: can they stride comfortably, without the straps catching or rubbing?

Unsure about the fit? Ask us when you’re next in. 🐾

🐶 Puppy Socialisation 🐾

We started off with the snuffle mats to help settle the pups and get them ready to put their brains to work! 🧠🐾

We worked on touch and place, adding in the 3 D’s, and the pups were absolutely brilliant! 🌟 Once all that brain work was done, it was time for a little play and a chance to let off some steam. 😂🐶

We finished with some calm time exploring our busy boxes 📦 while chatting with the owners about their responsibilities when out walking their pups. 🐕‍🦺

A brilliant session of learning, playing and building confidence! ❤️🐾
