Teaching Tails All our classes are taken by a COAPE Certified Animal Behaviourist who is also a qulified IMDT dog Trainer. We offer puppy training and socialisation class.

We believe in only using kind training methods and focus on reward based training methods. Beginner dog training classes. Dog training and education for children. We are situated just outside carryduff.

Tess 🥰

This beautiful girl has come such a long way during her training journey. When Tess first arrived at her new home, she was in a constant state of fight or flight, overwhelmed by the world around her. Confined during her early socialisation stages, she struggled with anxiety around people and other dogs, leading to frustration and fear. Throw fluctuating hormones into the mix, and the poor pup was having a difficult time.

With the help of her amazing owners, we slowly began to expand her world. We focused on building her confidence and trust, introducing her to new experiences at her own pace. Once she was ready, we taught her essential cues like sit, down, stay, and recall.

Now, Tess is doing great! Her optimism for life has grown, and she is mastering new skills, so we are now giving her safe opportunities to make choices for herself—and she is smashing it!

I’m continually inspired by her owners' dedication and kindness throughout this process. Together, they’ve broken the cycle of stress, and Tess is discovering her love for treats outside the house and learning how to play which is helping her build positive behaviours in new environments.

I can’t wait to see this beautiful girl continue to blossom into the dog she was always meant to be. Here’s to more adventures and milestones ahead! 🐶❤️
