🐾 Sunday – We're Back at 8:00am! 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who helped today. Thankfully, it wasn't as hot as forecast, and we hope tomorrow is the same! ☀️🐶

Just a reminder that we're starting at 8:00am again tomorrow, with course walking and the judge's briefing from 7:30am.

We've still a few small gaps on our helper rota. If you have a class free and can spare a little time to help with leads, call up or scribing, we'd really appreciate it. Even helping for one class makes a big difference and keeps the day running smoothly.

Thanks again everyone – see you all bright and early tomorrow! ❤️🖤🐾

☀️ Glen Craig Agility Show – Important Weather Update ☀️

Held under IADSA Rules at Forest Farm

Due to the warm weather forecast, the show will go ahead with extra measures in place to keep everyone and our dogs safe. We ask all competitors to support these adjustments so the event can run as smoothly as possible.

🕢 Course walking & judges' briefing: From 7:30am.

🕗 First dog on the line: 8:00am (instead of the published 9:00am).

🐾 Ring & running order: We will stick to the running order as closely as possible.

🏃 Training rounds: Where permitted by the judge, training will be allowed within your allocated course time only. We will be enforcing this throughout the weekend to ensure no unnecessary time is lost and the show keeps moving safely.

💦 A paddling pool will be available for dogs to cool down.

🚰 Please bring plenty of fresh drinking water for both yourselves and your dogs, and make use of shade wherever possible.

☀️ Midday break: We will take at least a one-hour break during the hottest part of the day to allow judges, helpers, competitors and dogs to get out of the heat, cool down and recharge before continuing.

🙋 Helpers: Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered. If you haven't signed up to help on the app but are now able to lend a hand, please let us know. Every extra pair of hands will help keep the ring running efficiently, speed up course changes and reduce the amount of time everyone spends in the heat. Your help is greatly appreciated.

We're usually quite relaxed, but we'll need to be strict with these adjustments. It's the best way to keep the show running safely while looking after the welfare of our dogs, judges, competitors and helpers.

We have two fantastic judges lined up and can't wait to welcome you all this weekend. Safe travels, and we'll see you in the morning! 🐾

🐾 Glen-Craig Agility Show – What a Fantastic Two Days!

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and I couldn’t have done it without so many amazing people stepping in, stepping up, and mucking in to lend a hand. Thank you all so much! 🙌 You know who you are.

A huge, special thank you goes to Jackie Redmond for running the Jumping Ring both days, your help was absolutely invaluable, we simply couldn’t have managed without you! 💛

Massive thanks also to Diane Alexander, Linda Martin and Ash JD Ashleigh Devitt for all your hard work, help and support!

And we want to give the biggest shout-out of all to Cheryl Harkness – thank you so much for ring managing and working all day on the Agility Ring! And to Alison Parkes, who worked tirelessly on the Agility Ring all day, and also stepped in to help out at the Jumping Ring too, your dedication kept everything moving perfectly and I really appreciate everything! 🌟

Show travel updates

For those who have been before, the stone path behind the clubhouse is blocked. All agility cars please drive into the car park and then proceed to head along the roped driving area along the front of the buildings.

Road users are advised of a planned road closure on Saturday 27th June 2026 from 9am until 5pm. The Moira road will be closed in both directions from the Nutts corner roundabout to the junction with Ballydonaghy Road.

This is in order to facilitate scene testing as part of an ongoing investigation into a fatal collision, which occurred in the area on Sunday 11th January 2026.

Diversions will be in place and road users should allow extra time for their journey. med post and

I will be posting helpers rotas soon. There are still blank spaces if people are able to spare a class or an hour. Please fill out the blank spaces at the ringside on the day.
