🐾 Echo’s Visit to the Clinic 🐾
Last week we welcomed Echo, who has a special role as a school therapy dog. He wasn’t feeling quite himself, so he popped in for a check‑up with our team. He took everything in his stride — and even made time to soak up some well‑deserved attention from our reception team during his visit. ❤️

🐶🐾 Meet Sasha, our brave superstar of the day.

After an game of fetch, Sasha arrived with a 15cm stick lodged inside her mouth (see photograph) - and one sharp piece had even punctured her tongue!

With some careful investigation, gentle handling, and plenty of flushing, we removed the culprit and got her feeling much more comfortable. Sasha was bright, happy, and even tucked into her food afterwards.

🪵 A little reminder for pet parents:
Sticks can splinter easily and cause painful injuries. Specially designed fetch toys are a much safer choice for dogs who love to chase and chew.

Well done, Sasha — who has hopefully decided that sticks are officially overrated 💕🐶

Say hello to Pibble, our adorable French bulldog from yesterday.
She came in for her routine spay and an ear check, and was full of so much excitement and a whole lot of love for the team. 🌟🐾
Spaying is a routine procedure that prevents unwanted litters and reduces the risk of certain health issues later in life, and Pibble did brilliantly throughout her visit.

Darwin came to see us today after deciding that a washing‑up sponge was edible. 🧽 🫧

His family were understandably worried about the risk of an obstruction, and they did exactly the right thing by bringing him straight in.

Darwin was given medication to help him bring the sponge back up, and he managed to return the entire thing. He was an absolute star throughout (and hopefully a little wiser now!) ✨️

When pets swallow something they shouldn’t, quick action makes all the difference. Early treatment gives us the best chance of avoiding complications and keeping curious pets like Darwin safe and well.
