Following our Belfast City Marathon Team Relay fundraiser, some of our team had the privilege of visiting the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland base to present a cheque for an incredible £7,011.08.

We were given a fascinating tour of the base and learned more about the vital, life-saving work carried out by the Air Ambulance crew every single day. Seeing first-hand how donations make such a difference made us even prouder of what our community has achieved.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported our fundraising efforts. Together, you’ve helped us raise over £7,000 for this fantastic charity.

This month also marks Air Ambulance Northern Ireland’s 9th anniversary, and during that time they have completed an incredible 6,000 missions, providing critical care to people across Northern Ireland when they need it most.

From everyone at Lisburn Veterinary Clinic, thank you for helping us support such an amazing cause. 🚁🐾💙

🐦 Fledglings
If you spot a young bird on the ground, it’s usually exactly where it should be - parents are still nearby, keeping watch. The best help is often giving them space.
The RSPB guide below is a handy reminder of when to let nature do its thing - and when it’s time to step in and help. 🤝

Lemon spent the day with us for her spay procedure. She’s photographed here in her protective body suit, helping to keep her surgical site well protected. 🐾
With her harness on and looking bright, she’s ready to head home.
We’re looking forward to seeing her back for her check-up next week. 💛

Can you work-out what is going on with Tommys x-rays..? 🔍🩻
Tommy, a 2.2kg Pomeranian, was brought to the clinic as his owner noted he had trouble urinating.
After some sedation and x-rays, it was found that Tommy had bladder stones that had moved into his urethra causing much discomfort as he couldn't pass urine normally.
The stones needed to be moved back into the bladder by a process known as retropulsion so that they could then be removed surgically from the bladder.
👉Swipe to see the x-rays - and see if you can spot the stones. 👀
Following his surgery, Tommy is doing really well and is now on a special diet to stop any recurrence of stones. ✨
