A lot of people think corrections have to be loud or harsh. They donā€™t.

In this video, Chino sprints back to me when called, but he doesnā€™t quite hit the correct heel position. Instead of raising my voice, I simply tell him, ā€œNo, no, thatā€™s not what I want,ā€ and because he truly understands the exercise, he calmly resets himself and gets it right.

Thatā€™s what good training looks like. When your dog understands whatā€™s expected, they donā€™t need fear or forceā€”they just need clear communication.
