What to do on our farm :
Bottle feed the lambs and Calves as set times in the small animal barn area (April til September )
Feeding is normally around 11 & 3 starting with the lambs, with

a single lamb feed at 1pm. Check our daily what's on or speak to a member of staff. Come & hand feed the Cows, Sheep, Donkeys, Llamas, Goats & Ponies
Scratch the Alpaca's, see the Emus and their new chicks. Check out the cheeky meerkats as well as the Small animal barn where you can pet and groom some of the Bunnies and Guinea Pigs. See the ducks waddling around, check out the chickens, turkey and cockerel. Enjoy both our outdoor play areas, the Beach area with sand pits & swings, or the Farmyard fit area with monkey bars, climbing frames and climbing course. Hospitality
Sit back and relax outside the snack baa\\* on the picnic tables or check out our fantastic classic lunch menu in the Farmyard cafe. or bring your own lunch and grab a picnic table outside in our designated spaces. (*peak times only)

PLEASE NOTE: The farm is open until 5pm, so you can stay as long as you like.

Our farm just became 33 times cuter! 🐷✨
In the past 24 hours, two of our sows, Daisy and Honey, have both safely welcomed their litter of adorable piglets in the Pig Barn, and we’re completely smitten. 💕 If you’re looking for a reason to visit this weekend… here it is!

Barn Dance 2025: What a Night! 💃🎶🤠

Our Story

Welcome to Swithens Farm!

We are an independent family run business and our farm has been in our family for over 60 years. Opening our doors to the public we wanted to share with you our love for our animals, produce, and give our knowledgeable insight, all whilst promoting the family atmosphere that the farming environment offers… making it the prime location for families to enjoy their day out.

Here you can meet our more than just our farm yard animals, we have many friends such as Meerkats, Emus, Donkeys and more! The rare opportunity to get up close and personal is waiting for you here at our farm, an experience that is not so easy to find anymore. From lamb feeding to tractor rides – it’s here! We try our very best to offer educational value to your visit, in which we have many School Trips visit to learn about the farm life and the animals, especially how the food they eat ends up on their plates.
