Happy weekend everyone in Cozy Canines Land!

While Obi has been spending his spring break with us this week, we celebrated his 5th birthday! 🎉🎂

Of course, we had a proper party with birthday cake, plenty of treats, and a rousing sing-along from Finley and the other Pack Members.

There were lots of wagging tails, birthday cuddles, games, and plenty of outdoor fun to make Obi's special day one to remember.

Hello everyone in Cozy Canines Land 🐾

Hope you’re all keeping well in this insane heat!

We’ve been keeping our Pack Members safe with early morning K9 Expeditions in the shade, and today Jayne treated everyone to homemade melon ice cream… yummy! 🍉🍦

Keeping the pups entertained during a heatwave can be a challenge, but they’ve still had just as much fun as they do on any other day. Plenty of enrichment, cuddles, games, cooling treats, and playing in the paddling pools. 💦

We’re definitely looking forward to some more normal Spring temperatures returning soon! ☀️

We’ve just returned from a lovely few days away in beautiful Northumberland, celebrating Tracey’s birthday – with Finley of course coming along for the adventure! 🎉🐶🌿

Now we’re back home, we’re proud to announce that our latest Cozy Canines newsletter is out and already making its way to our wonderful clients and everyone on our mailing list! 📰✨

It’s been a little while since the last one, as life has a habit of throwing a few events our way, but we’re back… refreshed, recharged, and ready for the busy summer ahead! ☀️🐕

Stories like this are heartbreaking… they highlight a huge problem in the pet care world.

Right now, there’s still far too little regulation across the sector, meaning anyone can set themselves up as a dog walker or pet sitter with no proper training, checks, or welfare standards in place.

The majority of us do this job because we genuinely love animals and take the responsibility seriously.

But when people like this are allowed to operate, it damages trust for everyone and puts pets at risk.

It’s time for the pet industry to be taken seriously with mandatory licensing, welfare standards, and accountability across the board, not just kennels, boarders and daycare.

Pets deserve protection and owners deserve peace of mind. 🐶🐾

Paige Williams, 26, from Knowle, sought to charge a family £1,400 to care for their pets.

Hello everyone in Cozy Canines Land.

🎉🐾 Double Birthday Celebrations for Charlie & Loki! 🐾🎉

Yesterday we celebrated not one, but TWO very special birthdays… Charlie and Loki, the spaniels! 🥳🎂

And what a day for it!

With the sun shining, we had the most gorgeous garden party complete with homemade doggy cakes, lots of waggy tails, and even a little birthday sing-along in the garden 🌞🎶

Everyone was super excited… of course Finley was extra excited 🤣🐶 he couldn’t even wait for the cake to be cut and managed to grab himself a cheeky mouthful before we got started!

A truly lovely day filled with fun, cuddles, and birthday madness 💛🐾

✨ The first post of 2026! ✨

Happy February everyone in Cozy Canines Land 🐶💛.

February at last… and honestly, January felt like it went on forever 😅.

It’s already been a busy start to the year. We’ve welcomed some lovely new Pack Members, taken a much-needed break in the sun (which did us the world of good ☀️), and received some amazing feedback from our recent clients — thank you, it really means a lot.

We’re also celebrating 9 years of Cozy Canines Services 🎉.
That’s a LOT of dogs, treats, miles walked… and poo bags 😂.

We’re really looking forward to the coming year, lots more fun with our wonderful Pack Members — and fingers crossed for some drier weather 🤞🌦️.

🐾💚 Meet Buddy — Our Latest Pack Member! 💚🐾

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted on our "socials" (we've be recovering from the PTSD of a crazy no-days-off summer! 😅), but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been working just as hard behind the scenes. And now we’re back with something lovely to share!

This gorgeous boy is super happy, sweet, and full of energy — with just the right amount of mischief (he’s already tried his paw at counter surfing for snacks 🤣).

Buddy has slipped into Pack Life perfectly. He’s loved meeting new furry friends, playing inside and out, and becoming part of our little family. We’ve already built a really trusting bond, which means he now enjoys plenty of natural freedom on our K9 Expeditions — running, exploring, and living his best life.

We’re so excited for all the adventures, cuddles, and fun ahead with this lovely lad. 💛🐶
